Updated on 3/15/2026, Sunday. Everyone books vacation by the Superbowl Football.❤My calendar is up-to-date❤. Lovely, renovated, three bedroom SINGLE FAMILY house in Holgate section of Long Beach Township, 2 miles south of Beach Haven. There is an outdoor shower, covered front porch and a backyard patio with a weber gas grill. Flat screen TV's are in all bedrooms and a 60" smart TV is in the living room. I suggest you book now because your preferred week might get booked by someone else!! This is a single family home located one block from the beach with a private driveway that accommodates 2-3 cars. Bring your kayaks, easy walking access to the bay.

One of the very few bungalows (cottages) left on the island that fits your budget surrounded by gorgeous $2 million dollar homes in prestigious Holgate ( Beach Havebn South)

On the main Blvd, the township provides a shuttle fee service from 10am to 10pm.(kids 12 yrs and younger are free). the shuttle is $2 until 7pm and after 7pm, $5.
5 minute walk to the beach.- see google maps !!! In addition, the township provides gator service for seniors and disabled persons drop off-and pickup service to the beach. A bird sanctuary, parking lot with public bathroom at the end of the island, is located 1 mile from the house.

Living room: 60 inch flat mounted smart TV w/ netflix capability with DVR. Berkline leather sectional reclining couch. New kitchen cabinets with mosaic backsplash. Brand new appliances, oven/stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and and full size stackable washer and dryer. Internet and HD cable TV.
Master bedroom- queen bed with new 40' smart flat TV, window air conditioner
3rd bedroom- 2 twin beds with 32' smart TV.
Middle room- 2 twins, 32' flat TV, stackable washer and dryer.
House is ideal for disabled/seniors- only 4 steps to entrance.
5 minute walk to beach on dead end street (5 houses from bay)
(3) Smart TVs have netflix capability
Laminate wood flooring throughout the house.
KEURIG coffee maker and also standard coffee percolator
wireless internet- bring your iPADs and iPhones!!!
The house sleeps 6 people but bring your own air mattress if you need up to 8 people in the house.

❤❤Air Conditioning Description:❤❤- Attention, there is no central air conditioning; however, I have the following:
There are ceiling fans with separate speed dimmers in all bedrooms and in the living room. There is a 24,000 BTU wall air conditioner unit in the living room/kitchen area. -INSTALLED July 2024.

Across the street is a quiet Marina (Holgate Marina ph# 609-492-0191) that rents waverunner, kayaks and crabbing boats. The backyard is more private than others due to the vacant land and open space that is located behind the back of the property.

The township offers bus shuttle service on the main blvd. Plenty of parks also include 6 outdoor Pickleball courts (Nelson Ave.). There are free concerts at Bayview Park across from the township municipal building every Tuesday night from 7pm- 9pm. At the end of island in HOLGATE, 1 mile away, there are bathrooms, showers, deli, parking at the beach.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Return the 2 keys to front door lockbox
Take out trash to ourside corral/bin - regular and recycleable must be separated. Put clean dishes and silverware away.
Leave 8 beach badges under living room TV ( see can). shut windows and all air conditioners. For each TV, leave remote controls in open area renters can easily find, Check oven is off ( check knobs).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
provide driver licenses within 24 hours of booking. Vacationer must sign a standard lease immediately after booking.
There will be no refunds issued if vacationer cancels. Owner suggest purchasing (see this website) cancellation insurance. NO PETS ALLOWED.
Obey regular garbage and recycling requirements of the township. Respect your neighbors. Tenant does not have access to (2) storage sheds/bins

We had a great time during our stay at LBI! The house is cute, clean and has pretty much everything you need (you do provide your own linens). The house is in a quiet area and is just a short drive or bike ride away from restaurants and attractions. The beach is also easily accessible, just a short walk away from the house. John was very responsive leading up to and throughout our stay at the house.

Great time!

Our family enjoyed our stay - this was the first time we have ever been to LBI. We enjoyed the closeness to both the beach and bay. Great location…are thinking about booking again for next year!

Great location!

The house is in a great spot right across from the marina in Holgate. It was very relaxing to see the bay from the front porch. Great coffee spot in the mornings! The house is well equipped and clean. We really enjoyed staying there! Beach was a quick walk up the street and John and Grace were great hosts! Thank you!

Lovely location for vacation.. very peaceful and quiet. Wonderful breeze off of the bay.. we sat on the porch everyday. House was very clean, exactly as described, location is great on a dead end street nice and quiet. One block walk to the beach, easy to get a hold of owner with any questions. Lucked out with weather but if it does rain the tv is amazing. Overall awesome experience for first time visit to LBI. Will rent again

Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

We loved our stay on LBI and this rental made it the perfect retreat! Short walk to the beach, right across from the marina, great private outside area (complete with shower, grill & clothesline), upgraded kitchen, washer & dryer and TV's in every room are some notable conveniences that made this bungalow feel like a home. Great local shops and restaurants nearby.... And for the kids, Fantasy Island:). The owner was a pleasure to deal with and I would definitely come back next year!

Little Slice of Heaven

John was very easy to speak to about our reservation. The home was clean, equipped with everything you can think of! The bedrooms are all adorned w ceiling fans as is the family room. The 3 steps into the home and 2 steps out to the back yard were easy for both the kids and my elderly mother. I highly recommend the home to anyone.

One might think it is small but it is MIGHTY!!! Fantastic location (dead end street, walk to beach)...so much so that we striped the street (w/chalk) for a pickleball court right outside the terrific front porch! Back yard is gigantic, enclosed shower is perfect!!! If you love television, great! as there are plenty of all sizes! And easy house parking for many! ADDED BONUS: Landlord John is a delight o work with! Book now!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage in Holgate! Very easy access to everything - walking distance to the beach, just up the street from beautiful sunsets at the marina. And a daily shuttle at the end of the street that took us into Beach Haven for dinner/shopping/boardwalk games and rides. The cottage was very well equipped (John thought of everything!). Our kids loved having their own space in their rooms to play/watch tv in the evenings. Kitchen/living area was great - just the right size. John the owner was very easy to reach and always had answers to all my questions. Overall we loved our stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you for the hospitality!

Small beach cottage perfect quiet location!

Working with John was simple and helpful. He's very communicative and responsive. His home is a sweet cottage that is an easy walk to the beach (3-4 minutes) and a couple in from the bay. Beautiful sunsets from the front porch. The house has a roomy living room and games and puzzles which we loved! The bedrooms are on the small side but we don't spend much time in bedrooms while at the beach! The house was clean and the neighborhood is quiet. Renting or bringing bikes is a must if you plan to eat out and don't want to drive. We rented kayaks from across the street which was very convenient. We were a family of 5 (3 teens) and at times felt a little snug if we all needed the bathroom! But we loved taking out door showers. I would definitely rent again if I'm back in Holgate!

A true beach house!

We stayed at this beach house in June and got super lucky with hot hot weather! We were 5 adults, a 3yr old and 2 1yr olds. It was TIGHT! As you can imagine, the 1 yr olds come with pack-n-plays, booster chairs, bottles, etc! The bedrooms are very small, but were fine for the few days we were there (rent-a-crib will not fit in the rooms, pack-n-plays barely fit). Beds were comfy. Everything in the house worked fine. There's only 1 AC unit in the main room, which is very loud, but it worked so I guess that's all that matters. But with babies sleeping in the rooms, we couldn't keep the doors open to let the AC in. Not a huge deal since every room has a fan, which is great. The WIFI was very spotty, we couldn't really use it. Not sure if it was because we were all on it and the signal is low, but its not such a bad thing right? The backyard was great - we brought a blow up pool for the kids and spent half the day in the back and half the day at the beach. We like to cook on vacation so the kitchen wasn't ideal but we made it work. It's very small with little counter and cabinet space. Not a huge deal. Overall, this is a true beach house! Not meant to hang out in the house but probably much more space if there weren't so many of us! The front porch is great and the marina across the street made for a nice walk for the kids to explore. If you haven't been to LBI in 2 years, note that the dunes are HUGE! All for good reasons but if you have elderly guests, medical problems, or kids that come with a lot of STUFF, plan accordingly. We had rented a beach wheelchair for our grandfather which was a lifesaver but you definitely need some muscle getting up those dunes! Owner was a pleasure to deal with :) thanks for letting us rent your beach house - we had a great time and made lots of wonderful family memories!

Absolutely stunning!

This is my 3rd time staying at this home! I can't get enough of it! The location to the bay and Beach doesn't get any better. I witness some of the most beautiful sunsets right from the front porch! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for quite location bet yet still close to town.

Cute home with great outdoor space

This is a great home for a couple or family. It has great outdoor space, including a private yard which is hard to come by in most LBI homes. It is off the main drag so it's a nice quiet neighborhood. The home is very close to the bay and short walking distance to the ocean. The homeowners are so nice and helpful in answering any questions you may have. I also loved that this was a one level home for my Mother, which made it easier for her to access all parts of the home. I would highly recommend this home for your beach getaway!

The House was updated and clean. However, the house is extremely small. One bedroom is really a mud room/laundry room. My biggest complaint was the ac situation. The only unit is in the living room wall. This made the bedroom very hot and impossible to sleep with the door shut.

Quaint and sweet house overlooking the marina

We absolutely loved loved every aspect of our vacation from the start (booking) until the end. The owner is great - super responsive, the house is clean, super comfy and in a great locations - located right across the marina where you can rent a boat and two blocks to the beach. Overall, a fantastic experience. My family is looking forward to booking longer stays next summer.
