The owner's were very receptive to our needs. Easy to get around. It was a new area for us to stay in, with interesting shops and restaurants. We did a lot more of enjoyable walking. Very accessible to the areas of old town which we like. Thanks!

Great vacation!
I'm sorry it took me so long to write a review. We are a family of 4 who stayed at this property last February. We normally stay in an all-inclusive but decided to try something new. The home is beautiful with great, ocean views. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms as did my wife and I. There is a small neighborhood shop right around the corner where we would get breakfast before walking to the beach each day. If you would rather, you can get a taxi easily for a quick ride to the beach. In the evening, we would walk back down the hill and try a new restaurant for dinner. After dinner, we would either enjoy the town or go back to the house and enjoy the views.
The whole family enjoyed staying at this property and we would absolutely stay there again!

Unbeatable views/steep climb
We are two Canadian couples who rented this house in February 2015. The best part for us was waking each morning to the stunning views of the bay and the town and all the interesting life around us. We watched cruise ships, sunsets and even whales spouting in the bay. There is a price to be paid for the view, however, and that is the steep climb up the hill. We enjoyed it -- in fact, it was a point of pride not to take a taxi. However, we have older friends who would be unable to tackle the steep cobblestoned streets. The distance from the house down to the Camarones Beach is less that one kilometer. We walked down the hill and to the very south end of the Malecon almost every day. One good thing about the distance above the town is that it is quiet. We heard complaints from people who stayed closer to the beach about noisy night life. The only sounds came from the barking dogs that surrounded our property. Apparently this is a normal occurrence in the whole town. Our neighbourhood was mixed, with high-end homes owned by ex-pats sandwiched between very modest homes owned by Mexicans. We felt completely safe at all times. The Mexican family who lives next door met us on our arrival and checked in several times to see if we needed anything.
Inside, the house is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, luxurious bedding and towels. A maid came in to clean three times during our 16-day visit -- next time we would ask her to come every day, since we didn't want to waste time making beds and washing dishes. There is no dishwasher. You can pack light, though, since there is a washer and dryer on site. One of the best features of the house was strong wifi, which isn't often available at the resorts. The owners have provided a separate router for each floor and we had no trouble connecting at any time. The master bedroom features a desk with a printer if you want to set up your portable computer. The house did lack a TV and DVD player, and occasionally we felt that we would have liked to watch a TV show or a movie in the evening. Also there was no radio or CD player.
There is a small pool that looks like a hot tub on the lower level (still with an ocean view) but the water is ice cold. We dipped into it a few times when we were really hot after climbing the hill, but it isn't something you would want to lounge in.
Overall, we felt the house would be worth the price if it included daily maid service, and had a TV/DVD player.

Great stay
Whenever we travel to Mexico we always try to find a place that has nice authentic Mexican feel to it.
This villa is beautautiful. The first thing my young daughter noticed when we arrived were the exterier colors. Very impressive, the colors make the house stand out. The owners did a great job with making lage places feel intimate and comfortable. The whole place is very stylish and at the same time full of Mexican tradition. Not every pretty house has a soul, this house definitely has it.
Beautiful modern furniture and the impressive amounts of stonework (Iove that round table,) we would't be able to find that kind of combination in any hotel.
We loved that this place is far enough from the crowded touristy downtown (couple blocks away), it allowed us to feel that we are actually in Mexico and not just in any other beach resort. At the same time it is close to the beach and all the restaurants to enjoy the wonderful Mexican hospitality.
The views are amazing. Sitting in jacuzzi overlooking the sun seting over the ovean was my facourite thing to do.

Great Porperty. One of a kind
Good location in downtown. The house is recently redone and the owners have done a very good job. I liked the way the bedrooms and living room were on separate floors. Private but still cozy. There is a person on-call at anytime to help out or answer questions. I highly recommend this place. Close to all activities.

Amazing
We spent ten days in the house and loved it. It is beautiful and large, we slept in the upstairs master bedroom and our children in the downstairs bedrooms so everyone was happy… We spent most of our time in the living room and dining room whose balcony has stunning views of the town and the bay. We watched the sun set every day and enjoyed the perfect weather from that balcony and from the top floor, which is also great for relaxing and watching the view. Mindas was very helpful and responded to our email questions very quickly and efficiently. Another great thing about the house is that you can walk to any place in town, but if you prefer you can also take taxis, which are relatively cheep. Next time we go to Puerto Vallarta we will definitely stay in the house.

Amazing place
This is the most amazing house i have ever stayed in. It had the most beautiful views of the bay. The 3 balconies and the rooftop allows you to witness unbelievable sun falls. The house it self has plenty of room. It is full of sun ligth and summer breeze. The furniture is very modern and stylish. A great experience, and great house. There was no TV, but i wouldn't say that it was a negative thing because there is just so many other things to see and do. During the day there is a beautiful clean beaches, and at night there is a great night life minutes away with clubs, restaurants, bars street dancing and shows. Stayed here for more than a month with my girlfriend and had the best time of my life. Thanks a lot to the owners. I would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay here again.
