We enjoyed sitting by the fire on the deck and looking at the lake. We saw deer, cranes and eagle. We just sat and enjoyed the quiet and nature.

Don't think twice about renting this adorable cabin. This is are 2nd time staying here. Breakfast items are provided along with water and a complimentary bottle of wine. The owners are readily available if needed. If you like to fish, this is the place for you. We also saw 4 deer walking in the lake.

My stay here was great. The VRBO had everything you could possibly need for a stay as well as a bunch of fun extras. Hosts were communicative and the cabin was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

They had coffee and creamer along with farm fresh eggs, bacon, oatmeal and condiments. Great place to sit out on the deck and watch deer, eagles and other animals. Will be going back.

Home away from Home business Trip

An amazing home filled with beautiful accent lighting comfy home feeling amenities and a great wooded view. I had the pleasure of staying here for work and each time I came back to the house I was happy to be back and filled with a feeling of being home. The hosts were super helpful and reassuring that if I needed anything just reach out and they would be sure to help out.

Our kids had a blast with the bunk beds and doing smores by the fire pit. We also really enjoyed the welcoming messages and the farm fresh eggs! The place was wonderful and we would absolutely come back again

The place was clean, and the owner provided so many personal touches. The place was decorated so cute, and it was so quiet and peaceful. We saw a couple deer and saw the fish jump out of the lake. This Vrbo provided anything you could need while staying there. We highly recommend for other people.

This trip was amazing! The property was so beautiful and clean. The hosts were absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. They provided a guide book for the area and even some breakfast essentials. The property had every amenity you can think of. Nora and Aaron really thought of everything! 10/10 for sure!

Cozy and Peaceful retreat

This property is on a quiet road. There are neighbors nearby, but you would never know it. We didn't even hear a dog bark. The owners were easy to contact. The breakfast items, cookies and bottle of wine was appreciated. We are senoirs and the owner warned us of the steep grade to the lake. Walking sticks were provided and we didn't have a problem. We caught catfish, crappie and bluegill. Definitely will return.

Couldn't Have Asked For Better

Hosts are very responsive and gracious. Property is convenient to shopping and restaurants. While you can see another home across the lake from the dock, it is removed enough that we still felt secluded. It is truly a beautiful piece of property while the home itself is delightful with ample outdoor space for visiting and dining. From the multi-level deck and soothing water feature to the multiple comfort-features inside the home -- the owners have set up a very nicely appointed, updated and thoughtful space. This property is definitely on the list for a return visit. Zero reservations in recommending this property 100% if what you're after is natural beauty and tranquility in a one-of-a-kind cabin. Again, just delightful.

A Bit of Heaven

This very private cabin on Sugar Creek Lake was a complete surprise as soon as we entered the glass-front door. There are windows all around the entire back of the house allowing a lake view at all times. The fascinating outdoorsy decor mixed with modern architecture is very inviting. There were no keys to keep track of, as the door used an electronic locking system. The bedroom has a very comfortable large bed. The house has beautiful lighting in every room, with motion lights in the kitchen & pantry. The amenities were beyond belief, removing all anxieties of having to run out to a store for items you might have forgotten, leaving you time to relax and enjoy why you are there in the first place. A coffee nook with cream, mini snacks to enjoy, board games, as well as a bottle of wine. The bathroom was very pleasant, with a nice big shower. It also had an up-to-date washer & dryer (as well as detergent!).You could either go down to your own private little dock which has seating and pole holders (the crappie were nice sized!), or you could sit on the amazing deck at the cabin and watch the boats go by. Our trip was mainly meant for Thomas Hill Reservoir which is 20 minutes away, but we found that catch & release fishing from the cabin's dock was much more enjoyable (no fish cleaning at the cabin which was understandable). More importantly, the Hosts of the cabin were always available if we had questions. Once home, I found myself thinking of the good memories at this cabin.
