The space
This farmhouse has been restored to embrace a classic farmhouse feel while encompassing all the modern amenities guests come to expect and love. Careful thought and consideration was put into every inch of this restoration with a strong emphasis on paying homage to the history of Bangor and the Slate Belt region. Featured decor items include watercolor paintings and handmade pottery pieces curated by Bangor artisans and locally made goat milk bar soap.
The serene property offers guests an escape from reality to enjoy the tranquility of nature and quiet yet is a short drive from local venues and regional tourist destinations. The perimeter of the crop fields is cut to allow guests a natural walking trail around the property. Also, new to the listing is a disc golf basket and discs.
Guest access
The entire interior of the home minus the basement and the owner's utility closet in the dining room is available for guests to enjoy. Guests are not permitted to use the wood burning stove in the dining room. Guests are welcome to park and utilize the detached two car garage. There is an outdoor in-ground pool on the property. Guests are not permitted to access the pool at this time. Additionally, the 1800's barn is being renovated, so we ask that you please do not enter the barn or other outbuildings.
