Welcome to The Great Escape, a 6-bedroom fully accessible luxury cabin that sleeps up to 26 guests. It provides the perfect space to bring your entire family together.

Located in the beautiful Black Bear Ridge Resort you will be just a few short miles away from all Pigeon Forge has to offer.

This exclusive log cabin community provides the perfect base for spending your days exploring then heading back to the cabin for a little peace and tranquility.

The Great Escape is the perfect cabin for your family members with mobility concerns. Equipped with an elevator means your entire family can enjoy all the amenities including the game room and movie theater.

Unwind together…

Two large comfortable dens with sink-into sofas mean there’s plenty of space for family time but also somewhere to escape for a little peace and quiet.

Everyone will love their accommodations in one of our 6 bedrooms. The Great Escape offers 4 king suites, 1 queen suite, a bunk room, and a loft with 2 full size beds. Each bedroom benefits from its own ensuite bathroom plus there is an additional full bathroom in the game room.

Eat together…

Whether you are preparing a family feast or just a snack, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up the perfect meal. The BBQ/Grill means outdoor cooking can also be on the menu and your family can keep the grill master company while gathering around the gas firepit.

Play together…

When you’re not out exploring all that Pigeon Forge has to offer, you can spend time chilling and chatting, challenging one another to a game of pool, foosball or air-hockey and the large flat screen TV in the game room means you can still play without missing the big game. Or gather together to watch your favorite movie in the theater room equipped with projector screen, surround sound and tiered theater seating.

Whether your idea of the perfect getaway is action packed days or relaxing peace and quiet, The Great Escape is the perfect place for your family to make memories together!

You will receive one free ticket per day per group to each of the following: Dollywood, Dolly’s Splash Country, Pirates Voyage Dinner Show, Skyland Ranch, Titanic Museum, Wonderworks, Beyond the Lens, Country Tonite, Big Creek Expeditions, Top Jump, Crave Golf, Paula Deen’s Adventure Park, Legacy Zipline, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Rocky Top Coaster, Rowdy Bear Snow Park, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud, Soaky Mountain Water Park, Comedy Barn and The Grand Majestic Theater. Tickets are not cumulative but do reset each day. There is no limit to the number of attractions you can visit in a day.

Nice cabin with nice amenities.Only complaints were that all the beds crackled when you moved, got in, or sat on them. Also the stairs creaked with every footstep. Disturbed sleep and serenity.

Great Mountain Getaway

Our family had such a great time in this cabin the host was very friendly and responsive! The items left a starter items were perfect to get the vacation started without having to take a trip to Walmart (it will eventually happen) the rooms were so nice and accommodated our large group with no issues at all!

Amazing Place

I will definitely say that our stay was truly Amazing but way to short! We enjoyed the views up in the mountains, saw the wildlife and was part of a beautiful wedding. This was our 1st time there and Vrbo didn't let us down! You may have to pick up a few things but truly EVERYTHING was amazing!

Christmas getaway

Our vacation was absolutely wonderful! My entire family came from different states. The Cabin was spacious enough to accommodate everyone! We were comfortable and satisfied. The few problems that occurred in the cabin the owners sent maintenance immediately to handle the minor issues.

2022 Family Vacation

The rental was the perfect getaway. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of the center life but close enough to get there. The views are outstanding along the resort property. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Plenty of space to either play games, hide away and read a good book, relax in the hot tub, or sit outside and enjoy the sounds of wildlife. You will not be disappointed!

Great place to stay

We had 17 in our group staying at the cabin. The cabin had lots of room and everything that you could think of to keep everyone entertained. The game room and the movie theater was constantly being used. Also if you are look for a handicap cabin look no further. My father is in a wheelchair and the cabin was set up perfect for him and with the elevator he was still able to enjoy the other floors. Communication with the property managers was the best I have had here on VRBO. We couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Accommodating and Amazing!

I've been trying leave a review on the property we stayed in (Memory Maker) but VRBO still links my reservation to the Great Escape. We originally reserved the Great Escape, but as theses things go, several members of our party dropped out. The host was so amazing and accommodating and provided me with alternative lodging options for our small group. We ended up switching to the Memory Maker, and indeed, that is what we did. Our family had an amazing time and we fully enjoyed all that the cabin and surrounding areas had to offer. I traveled from AZ for this trip and it didn't disappoint. My husband and I are looking forward to when we can return. Thanks so much Shelly!

Love this cabin

It's hard to find a handicap cabin that will go to almost all cabin floors and affordable. This cabin is great, Thomas rentals always answers messages in a timely manner. We really appreciate the southern hospitality. I would like to recommend a saftey non slip surface on their new shower seat in the handicap bathroom, my paraplegic husband almost slid off after adding soap. The marble is just super slick when lubricated. But the bathroom upgrade itself looks great and is more functional than before. Thanks for the beautiful family memories again and I'm sure we will see you again next year!

Super easy to self check in. The space was just what our large family needed! We had so much fun. The movie room and game area downstairs also helped entertain kids during down time. Mattresses weren’t super comfortable but it wouldn’t keep me from rebooking. Pool was a ways away from our cabin so that was hard because I was under the impression it was walkable. (It is not) Overall super great experience and would recommend! They checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed as well!

The cabin was very nice. Your cabin sleeps 26 and we had 20 people. We needed more refrigerator space and the stove is small for a group our size. There was not a working light out by the hot tube. The toaster did not work.

70th birthday celebration

My guests were very happy with their rooms and cabin as a whole. Having an older group of people, the elevator was helpful especially when bringing in and taking out luggage. We all mostly stayed in the dining and livingroom area when we weren't out running around. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do.
