In town to enjoy a concert at The Hard Rock

Two friends and myself flew to Fort Lauderdale to attend a concert at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Our original plan was to stay at The Hard Rock Hotel but, the prices there were ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I looked around for alternatives and came across Jonathon’s house just a couple of blocks from The Hard Rock (you can see the hotel from the house) and had to check it out. This house was just a short, easy drive from the airport and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is a very clean two bedroom/one bathroom house that has been recently renovated. It has a fenced in yard with really good outside lighting. Although we had a little snag accessing our house, the issue was corrected very quickly by Valerie who personally came to the house to work it out. It was very easy to contact someone, I just hit the ring doorbell! The owner provided complementary coffee, creamer, sweetener/sugar, cookies, and bottled water. The beds were nice and comfortable and the house was very clean. The shower was amazing. We utilized Uber and Yellow Cab for navigating to and from the airport and the concert venue; although a little more expensive, we got much better customer service from the cab company. All in all, a nice stay. A nice alternative to crazy hotel prices. The total price for our 2 night stay in a two bedroom home was less than one night cost at the hotel!
