The location is great and the facilities great but the room was very average.No hot water they had to move us to a different room which they did upgrade us, which was great, but then that room had a lot of mold.

Beautiful hotel room looking over the beach and the golf. Very clean and gorgeous accommodations. Everything was just as described and we had such a wonderful weekend. We definitely will be back!

Can you say Bait & Switch? As a previous Tradewinds guest, my wife and I have enjoyed this resort in the past. When I read the Ad describing this room, saw the attached picture and read the guest comments of the beach view, I booked it. Shortly after, I received an itinerary describing the room as a "tropical view"... I immediately emailed the Roompicks host to clarify. They did not respond. The day before I could get my refund, I called them only to be put on hold and told the room I was describing was Gulf front and they could upgrade me to it for considerably more. I told them no. I wanted the room that was described in the Ad. To which they said, I could still cancel the room. Fair Enough, I said I could also keep the room and share my experience in the reviews which is what I did. As for the Tradewinds, although the facility is magnificent, it's become dated. Plus the 55/day additional resort fee use to include several more restaurants and bars that are still under construction since Helene & Milton. That fee should have been discounted or eliminated. I have attached the view we actually got. Overall, our experience was disappointing... Pete & Joni
