My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Rum Fish. The property was well kept. There were a lot of amenities to utilize at the resort and sister resort. The evening ambiance at the outdoor pool/bar area was enjoyable with music, lighting, and multiple seating options. The beach and views were enjoyable. Well located with easy access to many shops, restaurants, etc. Staff was helpful and courteous!
We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning sometime later. The only issue we had, the tube did not drain well, reported to front maintenance worked on it, however next time we showered, same thing a happen (rm 5805). Other than that all went well.
There are a lot of amenities at this location. We were in and out in just one night. Definitely did not take advantage of everything. Parking was pretty expensive but could remain after you checked out. The s'mores Saturday night was really fun for the kids.
Our first time at this hotel/resort and we were not disappointed. Many choices to eat in St. Pete’s and Treasure Island area. The property itself was always clean. Only issue we had was with room cleaning. We always seemed to be last on the list and ended up getting back from the beach/pool before they got to us and all we wanted to do is shower so when they finally knocked all we wanted was clean towels. Otherwise everything was great.

We appreciated the amenities that the resort had to offer. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were outdated, and the room that was pictured for our stay was not the room we had. The resort fee on top of the price of the room came as a big surprise, especially when you add tax on top. Your listing said all fees were included, but the fees added nearly 200 to our stay. It is important you are transparent about all costs for people who book your room, as that plays a roll in whether or not they may book with you.
Nice resort with plenty of amenities. My only issue is the AC did not work in the room and we called several times to submit a work order. We had one maintenance guy come but said he wasn’t an AC tech so they would send someone in the morning. Nobody ever came back and we spent our entire stay with no AC.

After being very misled on our room size and location we finally go a very nice room with a great view! But the entrance and front desk looked so run down and dirty! While taking our luggage to the room the bellboy broke my friends luggage! He was very rude also!! The people at the cafe were very nice and the breakfast was very good! The Beach chairs and umbrellas were very nice at the beach plus the beach boy Kase was so very helpful and sweet!! Also I think the rooms could use some updating also!
Staff was very friendly. They upgraded us to a suite. The elevators smelled of trash. The room was average. Soap dispenser was off the wall in shower. The rug was not vacuumed. Found a hairpin and earring sticking straight up on rug. Luckily we did not step on it. The blankets had a large stain on one and a large hole in the second one. Will not stay there again. Food is average at best.
The property is cashless which I enjoyed not having to worry about bag on beach. They have a daily fee on top of rental which is charged upon check in. They told me it was reserved as an average of expenses we’d use on property, twice. Upon check out I had the daily fees plus the restaurant, bars, etc charges. Not just the balance after daily fees were credited. Communication could be way better about that at check in. But it was a lovely property, on site & nearby restaurants allowed us to not even miss having a car so I would recommend!
