Family vacay

This was our 2nd year staying at this house. We have 6 adults, 5 grands, and 2 small dogs. Plenty of space for everyone.

Great location! Beach access directly in front of house. We had many older teenagers in our group and having the additional kitchen and living room areas gave them all plenty of space. Communication with owner was easy and quick responses to any questions.

Fort Morgan 2024 Vacation

We were very pleased with the location to the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Only 20 minutes from Gulf Shores shops and restaurants. Only downside was small and insufficient cookware for the induction oven. We would recommend this vacation house to anyone wanting a restful summer getaway.

Turtle Run

Great house with plenty of room. Despite minor issues with cleaning service and an AC unit, we had a great experience. The owner was quick to respond and was extremely helpful in resolving the issues. The house is a very short walk to the beach and is very well equipped to handle large numbers of guests. We had an awesome experience and look forward to returning in the future.

Family trip 2024

This property exceeded our expectations. The two levels were perfect. The kids played and watched tv on one level while adults were on the other. The house is so well equipped, it had everything we could possibly need. We will definitely rent this space again

Summer Vacation

My family of 8 stayed the first week of June. The location is great! The home is beautiful and roomy enough for everyone. The only thing I would suggest is to get some type of television subscription. We wanted to watch the softball World Series and the internet is not good enough to support the apps on the tv. Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful Beach Home

Turtle Run was a perfect fit for our family. We loved the location and the house. The beach location was great! We loved having multiple decks on both sides of the house. We would most definitely stay again! Our only complaint was the fancy stove top only allows certain pots. The house only supplied one set of pots. We needed more pots and a larger pot to cook for a crew of ten. We bought a large pot but it was not the right type of pot, therefore we could not use it. We did not find this out until we had already purchased the groceries and the pot. It would be a good idea for the host to advertise the unique stove top. The hosts were wonderful and were very easy to talk with. Thanks for a great trip!

We visited for our family vacation in June. We loved the house! Very well decorated and lots of room for our family of 14. The beach access was very easy and not crowded. I would recommend getting trip insurance though. We had a death in the family the morning we were supposed to leave and I didn’t have insurance so there was no getting my money back or changing the date. We ended up sending some of the kids and grandkids on down while I stayed behind to make funeral arrangements and scheduled the funeral for the next week. Then the rest of us went down mid week. I have bought insurance in the past and never used it so I didn’t get it this time. Valuable lesson learned!

This was our 3rd year staying at this property. It is perfect for our family of 12! There is plenty of room for separation, grandkids on one level and adults on the other. Such a relief to be able to bring my 2 fur babies. The host is quick to answer any questions and handles any problems that arise.

Turtle Run is 2 miles away from an Actual Fort - Fort Morgan. It is FUN to ride the ferry over to Daulpin Island also! Tacky Jacks and Sassy Bass Restaurants are just 2 miles away! Golfing at KIVA Dunes just 2 miles. Hiking a Bon Secour - just a few miles toward Gulf Shores. Short drive in to Gulf Shores for all the restaurants and main attractions. The Fort Morgan area is quite and there are VERY FEW high rise buildings so the nature beach is better enjoyed!! Walks down Ponce de Leon Court have ocean views!! Fort Morgan in general is VERY dog friendly!

What makes this property unique

Turtle Run has incredible views of the GULF and the Bay! You will be surrounded with water views. The second story views are Birds eye views! You feel like you are in the clouds! It is FUN to watch the dolphins play in the Gulf and see the boats come in on the Bay side.
You can see the lights of Fairhope and Daulphin Island on the Bay side at night. WE LOVE IT!!
