Welcome to our brand-new cottage located in beautiful Ft. Morgan, Alabama! This cozy retreat offers all the modern amenities needed for the perfect vacation.

The house is ideally situated within the Rookery, just a few steps away from the zero-depth pool, and a brief walk or golf cart ride to the beach with easy parking. The roomy living and dining space is an ideal place to relax, and the screened porch outside provides a beautiful view of the shimmering pool.

The fully stocked kitchen makes meal prep easy--traditional coffee pot or Keurig are both available. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en-suite shower/tub combo. The second bedroom has queen-sized bed and large closet space. The bunk room is a hit with kids, featuring two queen-sized beds below and two twin-sized beds above.

A maximum of two parking spaces are available. Parking passes will be left on the counter and must be displayed on your dashboard.

Items to get you started are provided: bar soap, hand soap, dish soap, 2 dishwasher tabs, 1 laundry pod, roll of TP per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels and garbage bags for each can.

You will need to get extra amenities for your stay! You may want to stop at the grocery store before you arrive, since it’s about 18 mins back into town. Walmart, Rouses, Publix, Piggly Wiggly and Aldi are all in the area. Instacart and Shipt can also deliver.
There are two Dollar Generals on Hwy 180 that have the essentials. Sassy Bass has 2 markets close by that have liquor, beer & wine.

Amazing first beach visit

We brought our granddaughters to the beach for their first visit. The house accommodated us. Perfect sleeping arrangements.

The house had more than enough room for all of us. It was clean and taken well care of. It was nice having the pool right outside the back door. The beach is a very short drive from the house. The property owner was very pleasant to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation

We loved this place. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything plus more than we needed. The location to the pool is literally right off of the back deck. Great for our water bug girls. There were so many water toys for us to use, a couple of beach chairs and a wagon. No need to bring any ourselves We rented a golf cart and it was super easy and fun to get to the beach. Easy communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back! This was by far my favorite family beach vacation location. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your beautiful cottage with us!

Work pulled my husband and I to St. Louis where we are raising our 2 teens. When I'm not working I love spending time with family & friends, recreational cycling and live music events.

We are so grateful we found this wonderful cottage in Fort Morgan to use for our beach vacations and share with others!

The Rookery III is a quiet family oriented neighborhood nestled in the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge area. This is a nature lover and birders' paradise! In addition to onsite pools, it is just a short walk to the beach.
