About this property

Relax at this peaceful, tiny-home style guest house. You will feel safe in this gated property, yet you will have lots of space to walk and enjoy the scenery. Only 15 minutes to La Fortuna and many tours. Our place is great for singles, couples or a small family. Please note that the top bunk and pull-out bed would be most comfortable for children, due to low ceiling and limited pull-out space. The lower bunk is a queen size and great for couples.
The space
There is a bunk bed with a twin on top (best suited for children due to low ceiling). The bottom bunk is a queen. And there is a pull out bed under the queen that is best for a small child because it can only be pulled out a few feet due to space. There is a smart TV with many popular apps like Netflix, Amazon and YouTube. The Wifi is fairly fast at around 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps up. There is a place to put your luggage and hang a few clothes. A kitchen with a cook top range, mini fridge, toaster, blender, coffee maker, microwave and cooking utensils. There is a hot shower with essentials like shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
Guest access
You will have the entire guest house to yourselves, as well as the guest house outside patio area. Feel free to walk the rest of the property, keeping in mind that you will be sharing the space with our family and pets.

We enjoy unusual accommodations, such as tree houses and such. We don't smoke, drink or party. We love traveling. We are able to do this because we operate an online business/ministry providing Christian satellite systems. So we can work from anywhere we have internet access

Why they chose this property

We are located in a rural farming community. There is a local bakery and grocery store about 1.5km down the road. The community is safe and you can enjoy a morning or evening walk along the countryside. It is only a short 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and many tour opportunities. Because we are in a farming community, you may hear farm sounds in the area.

What makes this property unique

Our guesthouse is affordable, yet clean, comfortable and generally peaceful. There is a nice view of the volcano from the window. We also have two lovely murals painted by a local artist.
