This custom chalet, rebuilt in 2019 post-wildfire, boasts modern amenities, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. Immerse yourself in Appalachian Mountain culture with thoughtful decor. The 5-bedroom chalet, featuring king beds, 4 baths, and vanity dressing areas, accommodates 10 people, providing a perfect blend of nature and luxury.

* Fully-equipped kitchen (we do NOT provide any perishables - salt/pepper/oil/sugar/etc. - so please plan accordingly)

* Wood-burning fireplace (fireplace season is Oct. 1—Feb. 28; firewood is available for purchase at the office.)

Yearly Family Greataway

Very nice home, open concept was one of the best we have stayed at. The decks with the swings was a great feature with an overhang that we all could be out there while it rained and not get wet. As in other reviews it’s a good idea to bring towels with you as there would not of been enough if we weren’t doing laundry every day. They need a good handy man to tighten towel bars, toilet paper holders and plumbing issues.

Lots of open space in the house with magnificent views from the back patio. The house had plenty of kitchen items to do some cooking in the kitchen. We did like that the driveway is level with the road for easy in and out.

The interior of the chalet was clean and the decorations were positively charming! We especially enjoyed the different "themes" for each of the bedrooms (Owls, Songbirds, Bears, etc) - that was a nice touch. Additionally, the rental agency (Mountain Laurel Chalets) is top-notch. They're friendly and accommodating, and they really make you feel welcome. Overall, I give the whole experience 5/5 and look forward to renting with them in the future!

Wonderful stay for our girls’ weekend!

The home is beautiful, newly reconstructed, with plenty of space and gorgeous views of the mountains. It’s easy to find, though be aware the roads to get there are windy with some steep uphills, so proceed cautiously. Short drive to get from there into Gatlinburg for any activities or food you want, or just hang at the house...pool table, hot tub, pools nearby, lots of room to hang out, cook, etc. Highly recommend this house and this management company. They were so kind and helpful through the whole process.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time! Our sons/daughters-in-law and grandkids had plenty of room to spread out and quiet time when they needed it. They particularly enjoyed the huge kitchen and the hot tub! The deck has an amazing view and felt very safe having the little ones on it. We had a bear investigate our grill when we were fixing dinner one day but he left soon after and didn't return (as far as we know). Mountain roads to home take some getting used to but most mountain homes are like that.

The accommodations where spotless, welcoming and home like. We all had a great time and experience. The views from the 2 decks were even better in person. The house was well supplied with even a extra large crock pot to our surprise. One of the main floor bedrooms is senior friendly with a step in shower. The bedrooms downstairs are perfect for young folks and grandkids. With small children make sure you bring a safety gate or two as recommended. There are many steps to the lower level. Conclusion... this is the place to be in the Smokey's.

Annual Friendsgiving Trip

We stayed in Gatlinburg Manor last year and liked it so much that we booked it again. We really like the space and layout of this home. We can all be together if we want or spend time downstairs or on either of the 2 large decks. The location is perfect - about midway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it’s convenient for wherever we wan t to go. The kitchen is well equipped for our meal preparations (soups, Friendsgiving dinner, breakfast 3 mornings), bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the home is clean. As always we appreciate renting through Mountain Laurel Chalets - they are always friendly and helpful. We have been doing business with them for 36 years and have never been disappointed!One bonus to our stay this year was when mama bear and her 2 cubs came to visit. We first saw them on top of the garbage can cage then watched from our decks while they hung around our house for a while!

Wonderful Friends Weekend

We absolutely loved Gatlinburg Manor - it was our first time staying in this chalet. We’re already planning our trip next year to stay here again! We celebrated retirements of all 6 of us as well as celebrating our 20th year anniversary of our Fall Friends Trip! During these annual trips we always have a Friendsgiving dinner - this kitchen was so well equipped that it was just as easy as cooking at home. The bedrooms were all very nice (would enjoy seeing them fully decorated without COVID restrictions- bedspreads, etc). The view was gorgeous and it was so nice to be able to sit out on the large decks since the weather was so warm. We always enjoy having a wood burning fireplace rather than gas even if we got very little use out of the fireplace this year with the warm temperatures. All in all it was a great trip complete with our usual hiking, lots of eating, a little shopping, much visiting and catching up and some jigsaw puzzle working! Thanks Mountain Laurel for another great year!

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a great time. The Cabin was well positioned and managed. It was definitely large enough to accommodate our 9-member extended family. We would definitely use this cabin and management company again.

We saw bears at our rental and in the area 3 times during our 3 day stay. We enjoyed the large hot tub. The kichen table could use more lighting for game night. Lower Deck furniture needs to be wiped down. We are renting it next year.
