This home is perfect for a group vacation; beautiful location, great swimmable beach, and plenty of places to be outside at the pool, hot tub, tiki bar, or various patios. Cannot recommend enough.

10/10 experience! We had 6 couples in our group, this house was perfect because everyone had their own private bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom and bathroom is stunning! The whole house and property is stunning. We used every amenity the house offered. We really enjoyed the private beach. The owner and the property manager Fernando were fantastic to work with and answered every question we had. Fernando also arranged for us to rent ATV's for a guided tour to a waterfall and that was a really memorable experience. Would 100% recommend this property, we will be back!

Beautiful place on the beach. Stunning views. Great snorkeling and paddle boarding and fishing right out the door. We had an incredible dinner prepared for us one evening. Fernando took care of all our needs.

Amazing home and location off a winding dirt road 20 minutes from Los Barriles. No crowds or tourists. Our group included 12 adult family members and there was more than enough space. Air conditioning worked great and lots of extras like an ice machine, a water purifier, and plenty of bath and beach towels. The home and property were spotless. The host, Fernando, was extremely helpful and always responded quickly. We had two meals prepared by Lucia's team and they were delicious.

Great location for what we were looking for

For the four dads and four 11-year-old sons, this house made for a perfect fishing trip. Fernando was our access to fun - fishing, ATV's, and even made a great recommendation for dinner out and chefs in. Don't tell their mom's but the two ladies cooking had the boys lined up for thirds and fourths!It is a quiet area, though, so if you need or want outsiders to make your vacation more memorable, just be aware that you are pretty far away from any city action. I would not be surprised if some or all of those in our crew stay at the home again.

Wonderful House and Location

We rang in the new year at the Casa de las Sonrisas. I also turned 50 here. It was the best house and setting that we could have asked for!! It was perfect for our group of 9. The location was great – very secluded away from tourists and commotion. We had the best time. The hot tub and pool were amazing and well used by the group. The rooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds. Relaxing was so easy here. We were able to see whales from the balconies!!Being right on the beach was so fun. We went exploring and the guys took the kayaks out each morning. There are so many places to sit and relax throughout the house. Everywhere you sat you had a fabulous view and could hear the waves. The kitchen was a dream. We made many meals there with ease.The host was easy to chat with and very responsive to questions. The man that helped us during our stay made us feel at home and was extremely helpful. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here. I dream of a day we can return!!The only thing that I would note is that the roads are only dirt getting there once you turn off the main road. We had small SUVs and didn’t have any trouble. But I just wanted to note it for anyone renting cars.
