Great sleeping accommodations for 10 adults (5 couples. Property could use some modern upgrades. Sparse furnishing, air circulation (ceiling fans), tiny showers. We were there in the heat wave and could have used more(better) fans. Location is spectacular and the free Basel card was perfect. House is beautiful.

A beautiful and spacious townhouse in a great location - we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend for a group of friends. It’s less than 10 minutes to the river, where there are lovely coffee spots and restaurants.

We had a mixed stay at this villa. On the plus side, the location is fantastic and very convenient for getting around Basel. The garden is big but not propertidyenough, However, the property itself is quite old and has a few quirks that made our stay less comfortable than expected. The standing shower is extremely cramped, and there are no locks on the toilets, which lacks privacy. Additionally, the layout is a bit awkward—one of the bedrooms is a walkthrough room, meaning you have to walk through another bedroom to enter it (effectively making it 5 bedrooms total). It's a decent spot if location is your top priority, but the house definitely needs some modernization and maintenance.

We had the pleasure of booking this lovely house/property in Basel. Communication and recommendations from the property owners made our trip even easier. It really is a rare gem of a house located in the city, which turned out to be a quiet location in the evening, perfect for unwinding and talking about our day and plans going forward. Restaurants, food markets (Migros), wine store and transportation all just around the corner, not to mention a quick walk down to the Rhine river made this house ideal for our big group. If we do make it back to Basel in the future, this will again be the perfect property for my family!Michael BrownHouston, Texas
