Family Vacay
This is a very great place to visit as a family and its very accommodating for pets as well. There were many different board games that we played. Or if we weren't playing games, we stayed in the river most of the time. Needs some updates but it was a great place over all.

Great if you like making your own bed and washing stinky blankets
Pros- Great location right on the river, plenty of space for a large group, lots of games for the family to play.
Cons- Smelled like wet dog when we arrived and we didn't bring one, One of the kings beds was not made at all, bathroom was not cleaned and had no toilet paper, Garbage still in the cans. Blankets smelled like wet dog so we had to find clean sheets and wash the blankets ourselves.
Don't expect any help from Vacasa I called and texted them with pictures and other then telling me sorry look in the laundry room there was never any follow-up.
Beautiful sounds of the river but lack of screens on doors means you can't enjoy it inside unless you want to let bugs in.

Stunning View
The house was very comfortable for the six of us. We had my 82 yr old Dad and his dog. There was a areas to walk with his dog without fear of falling off a steep hill. The home is older and needs many updates. The swing on back deck is very rusted. The water within home is sulfur so if you can’t handle that smell it may be difficult. We had no water in waking one morning but they were quick to send someone to fix it. We actually brought several floats and we floated down an 1 1/2 hrs down to the canoe launch area. Just make sure to have someone pick you up. My Dad was able to do this so the rapids aren’t that bad. The upstairs main bedroom never would stay real cool but overall we were happy and would stay again. We ventured out to Amicilola Falls which is worth going to see. We watched deer outside the home also. Neighbors said a bear got in his trash a few nights ago so make sure to heed the trash rules.

Beautiful on the outside….
The river access, fishing, fire pit …. But only one chair off the deck. The water stinks of rotten eggs — very heavy sulfur smell. Flush a toilet and lose water pressure in the sinks. Kitchen was not very clean, everything out dated, like 2022 creamer and spices so dated. They didn’t turn the power on until shortly before we arrived so the fridge was warm for several hours after we arrived. The doors to the patio are all hard to open. The shower upstairs didn’t work until the second day. I get not all houses are new or updated but this was pretty bad. I called for service about the fridge and the door off the track and the company responded with … “do you want me to report this?” Ummmm yes that is why I am messaging you. All around bad experience but the maintenance was nice when he finally got there.
