A layout that reflects a classic 1920s build

About the Neighborhood Gamers Oasis is located in an established, older neighborhood that reflects the history and character of the area.
Most surrounding homes are well cared for, and neighbors are friendly and respectful
The area is generally quiet and residential Across the street, there is an older vacant home with boarded windows. While it’s not the most visually appealing, it has not caused any issues for guests, and the neighborhood remains a comfortable place to stay.
If you’re looking for a polished, HOA-style neighborhood, this may not be the right fit—but if you appreciate a real, lived-in community with character, you’ll feel right at home.

Jeremy was an excellent host! House was perfect and all the games kept the kids busy. It was nice having washer and dry on site. The popcorn machine was a great touch.
The host was very attentive to messages. The house was SO cute and welcoming. My husband and I had just as much fun as our little one while staying here. Everything was clean and the host definitely pays attention to details. The popcorn maker was a hit! We will most definitely recommend and likely book again!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Extremely disappointed with this property. The listing photos make it appear clean and well kept, but the reality was completely different. The place was dirty and clearly not properly cleaned before our arrival. Several windows didn’t even lock, which made us feel very unsafe in what already seemed like a sketchy neighborhood. Because of the condition and safety concerns, we didn’t even stay an hour before leaving. This listing is very misleading and not accurately represented.
Check in was super easy. We had everything we needed and especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen! We had a couple issues with loud neighbors, but we messaged the host and they replied promptly and addressed/resolved the issue. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
Unfortunately, no lights were on upon arrival at 10pm. The front screen door was broke. There was water stains and bubbling on the ceilings and walls that was painted over. The floors sloped. One bed was not made completely and one did not have a top sheet, and several of the advertised games were either not working, broken, or stopped mid-use. There was a TV above a bedroom door that was on with no remote. I had to stand on a stool to unplug it. We also experienced quite a bit of noise from upstairs neighbors, including frequent stomping. We felt uncomfortable and due to these concerns we chose to stay only one of the two nights we had booked.
The host (Jeremy) was awesome, property was awesome- we will definitely stay here again if we come back to Springfield! It was a perfect getaway for myself, daughter and her friend- tons of games/fun!
Everything we needed was there. My grandchildren, 8 and 10 were in gaming heaven.Excellent location. 1 hour to Branson. We enjoyed the Springfield park/rec pool and the Aquarium. Thank you to our host.
Teenage boys had a blast playing games! Host was quick with responding to any questions we had. The shower wasn’t the easiest for my 6’3 son to use, but he survived… lol
Everything was great, but the tank to the fire pit was empty. We bought a bunch of s'mores stuff but didn't start to make them until about 10 p.m., so it was too late for us to go out and buy one ourselves. Other than that the house was great. Pillows could be better.
Pulling into the neighborhood, we immediately had concerns. Unfortunately, those concerns were confirmed as soon as we entered. This property looked nothing like the listing photos or prior reviews.Cleanliness was a serious issue. The half bath had clearly not been cleaned, the floors throughout the house were filthy, and there was a strong, unpleasant odor. We ended up buying air fresheners just to make it tolerable. When we turned on the AC (set to a normal 72 degrees), water began leaking from the ceiling within minutes. There was obvious prior water damage to the ceiling and walls. Water was dripping and splashing onto shelves and the floor; we had to use a bath towel to prevent puddling. We were genuinely concerned the ceiling could fail, so we shut the AC off and stayed uncomfortable in an already hot, stuffy house. We also rented the upstairs, and it was no better, with exposed roof underlayment that could be physically touched. The most comfortable place during our stay was the front porch, which says everything about the interior. Across the street was a boarded‑up house with people and a dog coming and going at all hours, plus repeated late‑night vehicle traffic. We did not feel safe leaving anything in our vehicles.Did the kids have fun? Sure — kids can have fun anywhere. Would we stay here again or recommend it? Absolutely not. Looking back now, I wish we had cut our losses and gone to a hotel.
