The host was very helpful. The house had beautiful furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the view. Only negative the bathroom could use better lighting. It seemed very dark. If in the area I would definitely rent again. Was close to town, but not to close.
Beautiful home on the Blanco River banks. Surrounded by nature and only a few minutes from downtown Wimberley. I would rent again. Quiet - safe - peaceful!!
Had a great weekend stay here. Very clean and the pictures don’t do the property justice for how large the rooms and living/dining areas are. The back porch is awesome and my boys had the best time playing in the river. We waded through it to get to some deeper water to the right of the property where you could fish/swim. The location is amazing - literally a couple minutes drive from downtown Wimberley with such great restaurants/shops. The only downside is how strong the sulphur smell is with the water. Probably not much you can do about that but running the shower or even the kitchen sink for a short while fills the rooms with the sulphur/rotten egg smell. Overall a great property!
This property is so beautiful. The view from the back porch overlooking the river is beyond peaceful. We celebrated our Anniversary here for a few days and it was exactly what we had needed. The owners were so helpful and nice. Only thing that was a hick up was GPS doesnt take you straight to the property it takes you two houses over. Otherwise it was exactly as we had hoped.
We had a wonderful stay! The location was great—peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to walk into town if we wanted. The views were beautiful, especially from the back deck, which was perfect for enjoying early morning coffee. River access is nice but bring folding chairs or picnic blanket. To the right is a swimming hole but not really an ideal spot for kayak launch if you were wondering. Firefly performance in the evening was such a a fun show when you are used to the city. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Rustic stay with an incredible view.
We really enjoyed that the property was within walking distance from The Square, but the house still felt secluded from the rest of the city. The view from the back of the property was amazing. We were able to walk down to the creek and play in the water. I don't recommend for anyone with knee problems as the walk down and up was steep. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom shower could've used more water pressure. The liaison was quick to respond to any messages that we sent.
The property was within walking distance of The Square, but secluded enough to not feel like you were in the middle of the city. Each night deer would come and wander in the front of the property, which our kids thought was pretty neat. The steps were a little steep walking down from the driveway to the outdoor fireplace, but wasn't an issue for the kids. The view was incredible! The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom shower could use a little more water pressure, but not a big deal. The check in and check out instructions were pretty clear.

We really like River Edge
Couple of things, the coffee pot takes more than 30 minutes to brew, & the toilet seat moves. Other than that it was great.
