Me and my group of friends had a great time. This is a good place for a trip with multiple couples, as every room has a large bed and there is plenty of space for communal cooking/meals. The property was gorgeous. Our host was communicative, helpful, and generally a cool person.

Beautiful and unique property. If you appreciate architecture and construction this is a must see. A couple of small snags were quickly addressed by the Owner Dino, who reached out personally to follow up. Game room downstairs was awesome. Rear deck was our hangout after a day of touring Burlington, on Lake Champlain, or hitting the Shelburne Museum or a brewery. Strongly recommend!

Every year my husband and I host a family vacation for our 5 adult sons and their partners. This was among our all time favorites as it is nestled away and private, has a lot to do in the house, and is just gorgeous. Highly recommend Dino, the host. He was friendly and great to work with. I really hope we have the opportunity to return!

Dino's cabin was incredible! Our family - including children ranging from 1 to 9 years old - had a blast. The basement is the perfect hangout spot. The location is secluded and peaceful but a short distance to groceries and Burlington. Dino was super communicative and repeatedly checked in to make sure we were having the best time possible. It was a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the log cabin at the end of April - a big group for an annual "girls" weekend (average age 59!) Dino is the perfect host and met me as the organizer upon check-in to go over how to get into the gate, house, and answer any questions. The house is enormous and very clean with all the amenities one could want! Two kitchens, up and downstairs, plenty of entertainment - pool table, foosball and air hockey tables, amazing wrap-around deck, grill and hot tub - we enjoyed it all! The bedrooms and bathrooms are beyond expansive and the beds are really comfortable. What makes the house really special is the decor - music and movie themed - so lots of memorabilia to look at every time you turn your head. Would highly recommend this property to stay at - perfect for a family reunion or girls'/guys' trip - we hope to stay there again next year!

The real Vermont log cabin is a gem. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for our annual friends reunion. We especially loved the privacy and the wonderful interface with the forest. The outdoor spaces were as amazing as the beautiful bedrooms. Would love to stay again if we need the space. Dino was a great host and made sure everything was ready for us and was available for any problems. He went above and beyond in helping a member of our group with a lost item. All in all this was a great venue.

The property is beautiful. Dino the host is quite the world traveler and the things to look at and admire are never ending. The personal touches were so appreciated, like tissues in every room, wine, water and snacks upon arrival, decanters full of breakfast cereal and a huge glass jar of Oreos. The location is perfect being approximately 45 mins from the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory in Shelbourne (south of Burlington) to the west and 45 minutes to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to the east (also near Von Trapp brewery). Even though the cabin is in a wooded area, we felt very safe and secure. Dino was always accessible and always helpful. Note that the dining room table seats 8 comfortably. (It is difficult to see in the pictures.)For those with toddlers, bring a cot because the mattresses are as high as those in The Princess and the Pea! :) If you're vertically challenged, no worries - there are foldable step stools in each bedroom!Paper towels and TP are well stocked but I would suggest bringing foil and baggies, if needed.Market 32 and Hannaford's are great for groceries, and Hoagie's Pizza and Pasta provide awesome pizza (no delivery).Our family of 8 had a wonderful time and would return again.

Beautiful Home but Just OK

FYI-There was no cancellation on this property when I booked it 7 months in advance. No directions up front on entry or anything else. I needed to call 1/2 hr. before arrival and at arrival to get directions on entry. To be fair, the owner let us in 2 hours earlier which was kind and he replied quickly every time I texted him.I had to text the owner every time I needed something, entry, lights, problems etc.. I had 15 people and had to go back and forth between owner and my group which was very time consuming. The front storm door was a nuisance (loud) because you needed to shut it by slamming it. The locks weren't easy on front door and back door handle fell off back door. The rod iron reeling on the deck wasn’t safe at all. The frig was not working correctly, warm drinks, but there were 2 other frig's there. That was a plus. The tent we were supposed to use wasn’t available and that left one person without a bed. The owner did offer the tent for free but did not tell me until 1 week before about the tent not available. That left 1 of us without a bed.Most disappointing was the slime in the tub because the water wouldn’t go down the drain. I was embarrassed when I was told about it.Couldn't find light switch's. When 4 people can’t find a light switch that’s a problem. That happened a couple of times.I asked for any kind of compensation by owner but he didn't agree which was disappointing.

This was extremely disappointing and the only three star I’ve ever received. She called me constantly for months asking about bed space and where people could sleep. She only paid for 14 and now I find out that they were 15 so she got one free. I offered a tent that cost me over $10,000 that I never use that was destroyed in a snowstorm. It has never been posted. A jester to help her out. She didn’t care, I forgot, the front door you simply punch in a code and open it. What else can I say? The refrigerator, delivered days before her arrival, it was damaged. Leaving 4 other refrigerators under counter and 2 in the other kitchen. the deck I had repaired, it that was the first that I knew of it. I have been replacing the deck in sections, but due to weather and lack of Laborers. It’s been very difficult. I don’t know what she’s talking about slime in the one of the showers? I have an incredible cleaning service so thank you for trying to embarrass me in a review. I’ve spoken to her several times before and my checkout is very simple. Call me 30 minutes before arrival so that I can talk you through the entire check-in so that you don’t walk into a house blinded. I talk you through every instruction. It’s a 7000 square-foot house. Why you can’t find light switches is beyond me, i’ve never had that complaint they’re not hidden. They are in plain sight. I don’t know what should’ve been compensated. The worlds a mess and this you not having me there to show you a light switch.

An absolutely perfect house for a family of eight. Each bedroom had its own bath (downstairs two bedrooms shared a bath). There was plenty of space to relax and the first floor was an amazing game room. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for cooking. The entire home was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The best however, was Dino. He was a most gracious host.Highly recommend for a family reunion

A magical, perfect weekend!

This house is truly beautiful and magical, from the snow covered landscape, to the roaring fire, cozy armchairs, enormous and well stocked kitchen, amazing record collection, and great hot tub. We went with ten friends and couldn't have had a better time. Dino was an amazing host, hoping to come back soon!

Vermont Charm

We had the best time at this property. It's exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The host is wonderful....incredibly responsive. So many lovely rooms. The only downside was that the host controls the heat and with temperatures in the negatives/teens, the system had trouble heating the whole house. I would definitely recommend this property and more importantly, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent Stay

We loved staying at this log cabin! It was a great and relaxing place my family could all stay together for my cousin's wedding. We had plenty of space the beds were super comfortable. The check in prosses was different than most places I've stayed, but Dino was great at communicating and made sure we had a great stay. We loved the basement with the pool table and spent a lot of time down there relaxing which was great!

Truly Perfect

This cabin is a gorgeous, peaceful oasis in the woods. It has plenty of space for larger families - we had a group of 6 adults, 4 children with plenty of room to spread out, hang out, and play games together. The cabin has ALL the amenities you could need, and if something is missing the owner will help you immediately. The owner was the warmest and most accommodating we have ever rented from, I can't speak highly enough of him and the property. The cabin is also a short drive to towns with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. You will not regret staying here!! Highly recommend!!

Vermont Luxury Log Home

We had a great stay at Dino’s beautiful log home in Vermont. We had a party of 11, with plenty of space and a great kitchen for cooking. The downstairs game room was great, and the guys played a lot of games of pool. We would definitely stay again. Thanks again Dino.

I designed this cabin to be a place where people can gather and enjoy themselves, whether that’s listening to music from my large record collection, taking in the artwork collected from my travels, or simply spending time with friends and family in a beautiful setting.

Entertaining has always been something I love, and this home reflects that spirit. My goal is for guests to feel comfortable, relaxed, and able to create their own memorable experiences here. I’m always just a phone call away if you need anything, but otherwise the space is yours to enjoy in complete privacy.

Wake up surrounded by forest on five private acres and enjoy coffee on the expansive deck overlooking the rustic landscape. Spend the day skiing or exploring Burlington’s breweries, restaurants, and shops, then return to the cabin for a movie night in the private theater or a friendly game of pool or foosball in the lounge.

In the evenings, gather in the great room beneath the 30-foot ceilings by the fireplace, or host dinner around the large butcher-block island before stepping outside to the outdoor bar and grill.
