First off, Kevin, the host, was incredible. He gave us the best food recommendations and all were top notch. He was very responsive and helpful. We really appreciated him. We also really liked there was enough room for us and a washer and dryer, especially when traveling with kids. Raul, however, the property manager, was not that responsive most times you reach out. There were so many things broken in the apartment that was not mentioned in the listing. Closet doors where the rails or the glass was cracked (not safe for kids or adults really), toilet paper holder and towel rack broken off and thrown under the sink, kitchen cabinet door falling off when you open it, the main light fixture in the kitchen doesn't turn on (they put a lamp in the kitchen to try and accommodate but it was still dark), the handle on the door to go out on the balcony would start to fall off when you open the door so that wasn't accessible and one of the main features we liked about the place, the ceiling by the back door is just crumbling onto the gound, the shower has missing tiles. We were just disappointed after how much money we spent to then have to be careful to use anything in the place for fear it will break even more. When I reached out to Raul about the broken items when we arrived he responded the next day that he didn't know about any of this. As the property manager I would assume he would be on top of this.
