About the host

We (Ken & Sharon) are parents of 7 children and 12 grandchildren. Though we have retired from teaching, Ken remains a professor at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Hudsonville/Jamestown is where we call home during the summer. We do spend our winters in Florida while Ken travels back and forth for this teaching responsibilities.
We own and operate several homes in Florida know as Sunny Dayz Oasis Vacation Homes.
We began hosting with one home in 2019 and added more as the years progressed. Why did we do that? Simply put, we enjoy creating and operating spaces for families to make lasting memories together. It is a very rewarding responsibility.

Why they chose this property
The neighborhood of Palm Key Village is a small family atmosphere where we have 3 of our homes. This community is right in the middle of the major attractions, it also is a very quiet peaceful area.
Once you exit US 27 and turn into the community you suddenly feel the tranquility that is needed to start and finish your vacation days.

What makes this property unique
Coastal Imagination Oasis is as it's name describes. You will feel the coast, see the images of the coast, and not even realize the coast it is an hour on both sides of our Davenport area.
Additional; with the playground, two pools, tennis, pickle-ball, basketball, club house with exercise equipment and other activities available there is no need to go beyond our area.
Of course, if you came to Florida for the attractions they are all close by at this centrally located community.
There is every shopping experience nearby from large to smaller chain stores, and family owned businesses.
The choices of eating establishments and grocery shopping is all so close as well.
We know you will enjoy your time and we would love to host you and your family.
