Sedona consists of three areas, each with its own unique flavor (and trail access):
UPTOWN SEDONA is the gateway to Sedona coming in from Flagstaff and Oak Creek Canyon. It's packed with shops and eateries (and people). Lots of energy and lots of fun. Oak Creek runs behind main street and mountain views are phenomenal. We have been told there is a particular street bench where (if you sit for a few minutes) you will feel a vortex.
WEST SEDONA is the gateway to Sedona coming in from Cottonwood. It's more residential with better options for gas and groceries (including Whole Foods). There are plenty of shops and eateries minus the parking hassles of uptown. For shopping, we recommend the Sedona Artist Market and Paw's West Thrift Shop.
THE VILLAGE OF OAK CREEK or "the village" (not to be confused with Oak Creek Canyon) is the gateway to Sedona coming in from Phoenix. It's a little slower, but every bit as beautiful. Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte are the icons of this area. Lots of golf courses, shopping, and restaurants.

About Brad & Tina Fullmer
We love to be outdoors ... we love our “deck-time” no matter the weather. We originally started renting our home out of a need - which has evolved into a pleasure, who would have known? We are happy to share our Sage Cottage and "deck-time" with travelers who enjoy it as we do.
Brad & Tina Fullmer purchased this House in 2014
Why Brad & Tina Fullmer chose West Sedona
Like many people (suckers :), we fell in love with Sedona on our first visit and kept coming back. We explored many areas of Sedona before stumbling on our little treasure in West Sedona. We consider ourselves very fortunate.
What makes this House unique
Sage Cottage is not just within walking to the closest trail, it is only one-tenth of a mile. This means most of your walking will actually be on red dirt, not a road to get there. The yard is a unique xeriscape designed and assembled by the previous (original) owner. The rock wall is an intricate work of local stone, similar to what you see through-out old Sedona. The deck is covered and carpeted and very large. The views from the deck and the yard cap it all off. From the mouths of Flatt and Scruggs ..."Take yer shoes off & set a spell!"
