Originally built in the 1940s, this charming home has been fully remodeled inside, blending modern comforts with historic touches — from its marble countertops and tile floors to original hardwood, reclaimed tongue‑and‑groove boards, and the unique floor grate that inspired its name.
This 2‑bedroom, 1‑bath home features a full kitchen, formal dining area, laundry access, and a comfortable living room with a pull‑out couch. Outside, enjoy a fenced backyard with a spacious patio, grill, fire pit, fire table, and outdoor seating.

Guests have full use of the entire home, accessed via a smart lock on the back door. The backyard is easily reached from the driveway.

Well‑behaved, house‑trained pets are welcome for a small pet fee. A doggy door leads from the back door to the secure, fenced yard.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
-If you leave before 11am please message us and let us know
-Collect trash from bathroom and kitchen. Please place it in large trash bin outside in the backyard.
-Please leave bedding. We ask that you do not re make the used beds.
-Place any used blankets in front of one of the beds as well.
-Dishwasher cleaning pods can be found under the sink.
-Towels: Please toss all towels in the hamper in the laundry room.
-Rugs: Please place the kitchen rugs on the bench in the dining room. This helps our roomba vacuum not get into unnecessary fights.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
