Welcome to our family cabin! This is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends, or even a peaceful getaway for yourself. Conveniently located between Boyne City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. The cabin is stocked with new and nostalgic necessities and furniture. A large yard to gather in around the firepit and share stories! A quick stroll down a trail and you are at a Lake Charlevoix lake access where the sound of the waves are relaxing and the sunsets are dazzling.
The cabin (it's a house, but that's what we have always called it), is furnished with new and nostalgic items. Not everything is perfect, which is how family cabins tend to be, but we have had over 60 years of memories created on this plot of land and we are excited to share our happy place with more people, that we hope will want to come again and again to create their own memories here.
The main floor is an open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room. The full bath, primary bedroom, and laundry closet, with stackable washer and dryer, are also on the main floor. The kitchen is stocked and features a full size refrigerator with freezer, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and beverage station. The living room features a large L-shaped couch for lounging and relaxing with family and friends, as well as a TV.
This is a 1 1/2 story house so the second floor has 4ft high outer walls that follow the roofline up to 7ft. The second floor was set up for accommodating as many of our family as possible, so it is reminiscent of a summer camp. There are 6 separate bed cubbies, with walls dividing them and a privacy curtain. All have a brand new queen bed. One also has a twin bed and some of them have cushioned chairs that can be unfolded into sleeping mats. There is a small common area located in front of the sliding door that leads to the balcony. There is also a 3/4 bath (shower).
Guests have access to the whole house. Including the use of the front yard and backyard, which ends at the shed.
I can be reached by phone or through the messaging app here.
Welcome to Springwater Beach! A quiet woodsy neighborhood between Boyne City and Horton Bay. Here you can enjoy walks around the loop of the neighborhood and stop off at the end of the road public lake access one block down from the cabin. The lake access, although convenient, is rocky so water shoes are encouraged for swimming. It is a great place to watch the sunset and catch a quick dip, but it is a narrow access with neighbors on both sides. The township park and Young State Park are 2 miles down the road if you prefer sandy beaches.
This neighborhood is a mix of full time residents and seasonal residents. Most of the homes here have been owned for decades by the same families (ours has been in the family over 60 years).
The 3 closest neighbors are all full time residents, so we do ask that our guests be respectful. Sound does carry very easily here.
The cabin is conveniently located between many wonderful Northern Michigan towns and attractions.

There is plenty of parking. When pulling in the driveway, if you have multiple cars, the best way to park is diagonally along the right side of the driveway and the remainder of the vehicles on the driveway. If needed you may also park on the right side of the garage. There is no driving in the backyard as that is where the septic system is.
There is not cab service in this area, and it will be nearly impossible to get an Uber or a Lyft.
Please note regarding the number of guests. The township only allows 10 adults and the remainder can be children.
Quiet time is before 9am and after 11pm on weekends and after 10pm on weekdays.
Playing music or talk radio loudly is prohibited at all hours. Sound carries and not everyone enjoys the same things you do.
Please be respectful of the neighbors. They live here full time and they will call authorities if you are being disruptive.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture and should not be left alone in the house.
