Solarium and large deck with beautiful view on the Lake Superior and Mont Tremblant North Side. The cottage is partly built on top of a huge boulder rock and offers spectacular views. Dream site for nature lovers and outdoors fans : close to Mont-Tremblant - north side, Casino+golf and the Mont Tremblant national park (400 lakes and rivers, cross country ski, snow shoes , etc. Semi private access to lake (beach, swimming, 3 kayaks, shallow waters).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norm & Joanne’s cottage for the last week of summer. The cottage has all the amenities we could hope for and close access to a nice small piece of sandy beach. The kids really enjoyed playing waterside. Also a short drive in to Mont Tremblant to enjoy the area/shops. I thoroughly enjoyed my walks in the area enjoying all the trees. The only thing we noticed that we missed was a second or larger couch to lounge on during rainy days :)

Cottage on the rock

My family, along with my niece, had a very nice stay here. It's a lovely setting, just steps to a small beach. We got a lot of use out of the kayaks and also the foosball table! Beds mostly comfortable, the top bunk probably best for a child. Good location, not far from the national park or the village. I'd recommend this cottage, and the owners were very helpful and responsive.

Quaint & Comfortable Lake Cabin

We traveled to ski at Mont Tremblant with our adult daughters. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. It was comfortable and very relaxing for our New Year's getaway. Very conveniently located to the "North" ski lifts. A bit of a drive to the village at Mont Tremblant. However, Tremblant Taxi is excellent and reliable for the drive back and forth if you don't want to take your own car. The drivers know the roads very well. If you want to stay local, there's two restaurants that are excellent and only two minutes drive from the cabin. Le Rustique & Bistro le Loch. Great food and very friendly staff at both. Our only comment for the cabin would be to get a more comfortable couch. After a long day of skiing you just want to relax on the couch. The current furniture is not conducive for that. Maybe swap out the small ratan set in the solarium for a compact comfy sectional. Other than that everything was amazing and we loved our stay!

We were close to the Tremblant North face and national park for both downhill and cross-country skiing. Lake access was used for snowshoeing. The solarium was sunny & cosy, our kids enjoyed the foosball!

Cozy and lovely cottage like your own home

We spent four nights here, and it was pleasant and warm. The daily necessities and kitchen supplies are complete and sufficient, like in my home. The room is not big but very comfortable, every one of our group is delighted. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the north side of the ski resort. The north side is much better for skiers than the south side. The parking lot is very close to life, and not too many people are waiting for the lift; maybe only take 3-5 minutes in the line, then you can get the ride to the top of the mountain. The owner was very helpful. Norman send me very detailed instructions for check-in and stay. Everything is perfect we plan to back in the summer.

The ‘Gem’ on the Rock

This is a great cottage with just enough space for 2 adults and 2 (tall) teens. We arrived to find everything in working order, clean and ready for use. The space under the deck was amazing for storing of our bikes. The campfire area was nestled at the base of the big rock and made for a cozy space to cook marshmallows. The lawn was ideal for a bit of badminton. The lake access was all that was needed to launch our canoe and their kayaks. The owner Norm was easy to reach and communicate with. Location wise, perfect! Close to biking trails, hiking, not far from the ski hill and the National Park. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Cozy cottage close to north side of Mont Tremblant ski resort.

This cottage was perfect for our two weeks of skiing at Mont Tremblant. It is a 10 minute drive from the cottage to the base of the north side. The cottage is nicely furnished and the owners are very helpful. Our only issue was the driveway which was icy after a heavy rain followed by freezing temperatures.

Summer holiday

This was our second time staying at the cottage on the rocks and we have thoroughly enjoyed going there. The cottage is cute, the deck is lovely and the lake is a short distance away and is spectacular. We hope to go there again next year!

Great place to stay

We spent 2 days there while skiing at Mont Tremblant. This place is close to the mountain and has everything you need. We had 6 adults and the cottage was comfortable for the whole group. Normand was available by phone to answer any questions and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole place is clean and very nicely maintained. We had ice on the solarium so we couldn't enjoy the view but it was still a very cosy place to relax. We will likely return.

My husband and two teenage children enjoyed our stay on Lac Superieur and took full advantage daily of the available kayaks. Normand was very helpful before and during our stay, and able to answer all of our questions. The cottage was a perfect size for the 4 of us for the week and had all the expected amenities. We recommend this vacation home for those who are looking for a place close to Mon Tremblant activities.

The cottage was everything we expected by looking at the pictures. It was clean and cozy! Beautiful views of the laurentians from the solarium. It was a winter wonder during our stay! Perfect for our skiing and dog sledding adventures! We were very at home with our stay! The owners made sure everything was there to enjoy our stay. The only thing that we found hard was sharing a double bed..a queen size in one room would be great! Thanks again for renting your little piece of paradise;)

We are a nature-loving family who loves being active and the outdoors. We purchased this cottage because of its amazing location offering many activities, and to enjoy it with our two children so we can share with them beatiful moments.
We rent it a few times a year, often to families we know, and many have come back every year ever since.

Why they chose this property

Visitors like the cottage because of the warmth of its decor, the open area, the solarium,etc. Also, the confort it provides : 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 tvs, BBQ. Outside, there are large decks (sunny and shady), fireplace, playground, etc Also, the easy access to the lake : small beach, swimming, kayak, etc. Lake Supérieur is surrounded by beautiful mountains and has several bays, islands/Rocks to explore !

What makes this property unique

Lake Supérieur is right next to the North side of Mont Tremblant Ski resort when it is a lot easier to park the car right next to the chair lift, as opposed to the south side where you will likely need to park, use a shuttle bus, then small lift to finally get to the bottom of the mountain. The cottage is about 8 minutes (7 km) from Mont Tremblant North Side. Also, the cottage is close to mont Blanc, a smaller but very interesting ski resort.
The cottage is also very close to the Mont Trembant National Park, the oldest and one of the largest of the province (1500km2, 400 lakes and rivers) which offers a lot of activities and beautiful scenery.
The cottage parking lot is very close to the street, making it easy to get to it and leave early to hit the slopes on a snowy morning ! The street is a secondary and quiet street.
