Family friendly and really big. Yard to run around and quaint, not a bunch of people. Note there is not AC, but if you have windows open at night, then shut them early morning and out down blinds the house is perfect.

We had a wonderful stay here. The kitchen was well equipped, there was internet and games. The washer and dryer were good to have. We were in our 60s and the bedrooms were upstairs and the steps were steep if you have issues doing stairs but we were able to managewere steep but we had no issues, there were places to sleep on main floor but we used the bedrooms. The house was very cute and super clean. We walked to places to eat and to see the harbor. Everyone we met was very nice.

Wonderful place

Very much enjoyed our stay here in Winter Harbor. The home was very clean and comfortable. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to nearby coffee shops and the 5 and 10 general store. We also enjoyed the access to the ferry over to Bar Harbor and the Island Explorer busses into Acadia. No need to fight the traffic!

Perfect house and location for us

Everything was great about this house. The host was so kind and gave some great recommendations. The location was perfect and we could easily walk to stores and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone. One note - there isn’t AC (not uncommon in New England) and we stayed during a heat wave, but the ocean breeze and ceiling fans did their job and we were very comfortable.

The Perfect Escape

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—just minutes from the breathtaking Schoodic Peninsula and nestled close to a charming downtown full of local shops and small-town character. The property itself was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. We loved winding down with board games in the cozy living area, and the fully loaded kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) to cook meals at home. The fire pit was a favorite for relaxing evenings under the stars. Truly a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home—we’d absolutely stay again!

Beautiful home for a weekend stay!

I stayed here with 8 friends and we had a phenomenal time. The host was super welcoming, very communicative and accommodating for larger groups above all. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps having a tub mat for the upstairs bathroom. Other than that, I loved how well equipped the kitchen was and the laundry machines were a plus!

We really enjoyed this house! It was comfortable and gave us perfect accommodations for our family if 7. Our family also really enjoyed the backyard fire pit. We all loved the quaint town of Winter Harbor with its restaurants, grocery and locally owned convenience store. Highly recommended!
