1014 SeasideTurtle Dreams Retreat

Situated on the east end of the island, our beachfront condominium is near the intersection of the seawall and the main entrance to the island. Enjoy easy access to the Seawall and historical district’s parks, shopping, museums, trendy cafes, and cultural hotspots, making your stay as comfortable and customizable as you desire. There are no meters or other hassles of street parking here as parking is in a designated lot on the north side of the building, with other overflow parking available if needed. The open-concept living room is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With the relaxing view of the beach, it's the perfect space to unwind! Leave your cares, pool towels, and other amenities behind. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and appliances. Each bedroom has its own bathroom for added privacy. A generous amount of pool towels are provided and can be exchanged at the front desk as often as needed to enjoy the on-site heated pool and hot tub. Other onsite amenities for your enjoyment include tennis and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic grills, and hammocks. Our management team is committed to ensuring your living experience is smooth, enjoyable, and sure to produce fond memories. Prompt response to maintenance requests and a friendly approach make us stand out.

Gorgeous complex but the people at front desk are rather obsessed about people wearing wristbands, which is a headache if you are staying for a week as we were.

Our only disappointment was the pool heater was not working and it was too cold to swim.However, we look forward to our next visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we rented was in good location where we wanted but the shower drain was not working, had to stand in bathed water after shower. The power points on one side of the bed in the main bedroom didn’t work. We called maintenance but they couldn’t fix the problem. The cooking pan was all greasy, it was not washed when we arrived. Except that, we enjoyed the stay. Great views and easy access to beach.

Great view but needs attention

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely stay, but for a few issues: 1) There were numerous electrical outlets out of service. We had to run several extension cords to access power throughout the condo. 2) The sound transfer from the end unit next door was alarming. Conversations could be understood and they weren't yelling. Additional drywall, second wall, or other acoustic treatment would be expensive but necessary to remedy such a difficult problem. 3) the unit needs refreshing of paint and minor repairs. 4) the tires on the luggage rollers were too under pressure and would't handle well enough to take heavy load. 5) the air blowing into the secondary bedroom has a rattling sound.

This time there was construction going on next door. I wish we had known that before renting because we would have chosen a different unit. After being out for the day, the last thing one wants is to come back to pounding noise. So the first day we were listening for an hour and the next day was listening for 2 hrs. when we were tired and just wanted to rest. You should offer a discount to renters around any unit that has construction going on or inform them before renting. I will be sure to call and ask The unit itself was great. It had the added bonus of a Keurig there which is not advertised (we lugged our own). It needed to be descaled which I would have done but there was no vinegar there. Everything worked, it was comfortable and clean.
