Lolita, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. We are a family of 4, with 2 teenagers and had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. We initially intended to use the home as a base, and then explore all the many things to do in the Keys. The problem was, we never wanted to leave the house. 1 step to the beach, about 50 steps to the water, with a screened in porch with plenty of fans to keep you cool. We could not get enough of kayaking. Early morning kayaking trips to watch the dolphins being trained, then hitting the canals on the way back to see the Manatees. We found a couple of babies that would swim right up to the kayaks and roll over so you could pet their bellies. We rented a paddle board for the week and the water out front was perfect for that. The home had everything for cooking, cleaning, etc. We received a welcome phone call from Lolita and Sandy answering any questions we may have had. There is a grocery store across the highway, and many great restaurants with in a few miles drive. Not quite sure about the negative review two post before this. The beach was cleaned by a crew of people every day, there are 2 roped off areas for swimming, one has a large sandy bottom area. The 3rd bedroom is small, but it's perfect for sleeping in, my 15 year old had no problem with it. I've always believed that you leave things the way you find them, and if you accidently break something, you pay for it., but that's just me. Sandy, it was a pleasure meeting you the last day, and Lolita, thank you again for opening your home to us. We can't wait to come back.
