Quiet and peaceful and yet close to De Land, only 20 miles from Daytona Beach and just down the road from the historic Old Spanish Sugar Mill at De Leon Springs State Park. One hour and fifteen minutes north of Walt Disney World. Bar-BQ, microwave, refrigerator, electric cooker, tea kettle, coffee pot, toaster, TV, professional pest control. NO Wi-Fi, NO ACCESS TO POOL OR LAUNDRY ROOM.

Jean's cottage was perfect for our stay. And so close to so many of the springs. The cottage itself is so quiet and peaceful. My kids loved going by to say hi to the horses. Perfect stay.

It was a cute, quaint cottage set on a horse property. Jean, the host, was great and responsive. My brothers and I stayed here for a wedding. It was a great location for peace and quiet. Walking in the morning was nice. There are numerous horse farms in the area. Make sure to visit the Arena she has on the property. It is amazing all the awards they have. You can also get wifi access at the arena if you need to. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Weekend Family Stay

We enjoyed staying on this lovely horse property. Our small human enjoyed walking around and seeing the horses in real life. The cottage was comfortable for us and our pack and play fit in the main bedroom on the side which allowwd us to keep and eye on the small guman for naps and also get around in the room.

Stayed for 2 nights while in Daytona for a festival. Checkin in was easy and host responded to questions very fast. Not the easiest place to find when leaving a music festival at midnight but very comfortable and had no problem sleeping

Location was perfect

We loved being so close to the springs to catch the pancake breakfast before the crowds! Just the right size for the five of us! Girls strolled the walking trails while boys cleaned up. Easy drive to Eustis, Deltona, and New Smyrna Beach. (45 min) Jean was super nice and helpful. Our 2nd stay! Thank you!

Our stay at this cottage was great, it felt extremely homey the kids truly enjoyed it getting to walk around and see the horses and view the landscape was truly a plus. We would definitely stay here again in the future for get aways.

Quiet country stay

We had a wedding at nearby Whitewood Ranch and found this charming home. It was a sweet get away to a different Florida. The pictures are accurate and the price reasonable. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for small things (hair on shower wall, a used contact lens on table in living room, and lupstick stains on wine glass). All in all it was lively and comfortable.
