About this property
Gorgeous Lake of the Woods Cabin
We would love to share our beautiful lakefront cabin for rent. It has all the amenities of home, and is situated on a very private lot (just over an acre) on a quiet bay. This 3 bedroom cabin has 3 queen size beds. There is a lovely bunkhouse with its own patio sharing a view of the lake with a twin bed and a sitting area of its own. Two canoes and two kayaks will be provided for your enjoyment and there are many areas to hike, fish, swim, and do anything else that lake life offers! It is only a 15 minute drive to Kenora for any of your needs, but sitting on the dock enjoying the sunshine, and listening to nature will be more than enough! Enjoy!

About the host
Hosted by Paul Magel

Hi, we are a family of four who love the outdoors! Our cabin is our favourite place to be and we would love to share it with you. Everyone should get an opportunity to enjoy Lake of the Woods!
Why they chose this property
This property is very private and has a wonderful energy about it. The gently sloping landscape has numerous nooks and crannies for every family member to enjoy peace and quiet. While the mid property fire pit is the perfect spot for gathering and enjoying togetherness. Wild flowers, fir and birch trees as well as a host of wildlife are all around. Especially numerous bald eagles that are always a thrill to see! The cabin is very comfortable and has all the amenities of home. It is set on a quiet bay that offers great canoeing, fishing, swimming... anything that lake life has to offer. It is land accessible and only a 15 minute drive from Kenora.
What makes this property unique
Sitting on the dock at night listening to nature, watching the ducks swim by, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit or reading in a cozy chair in the large sunroom overlooking the water are some of our favourite things to do. Snoozing or reading in a hammock is also a personal fav. There are beautiful views from three separate patios, and the moon seems to hang right over the cabin! Make sure to wake up early one morning and bring a coffee to the dock and watch the glorious sunrise and the mist over the water. On a clear evening, be sure to go outside and marvel at the brilliance of the stars! It's a rare treat to see the sky lit up so brightly with no city lights to compete with mother nature.
