Located on a lake, this holiday home is in Downtown New Buffalo, a neighbourhood in New Buffalo. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Michigan and Indiana Dunes National Park. The property was awesome - clean, conveniently located and beautifully decorated. The outdoor spaces on the property were wonderful with great views from the rooftop deck. The town has incredible restaurants and shopping, and we also ventured over to Three Oaks where we enjoyed more shops and food! We walked to the beach, but that wasn’t a major draw for us. I have saved this property because I definitely don’t lan to stay here or in this area again!

Enjoyed the rooftop view and proximity to beach, park, downtown shops and restaurants. Also, parking was convenient. We arrived and had to clean up a bit. (Upon arrival, there were half-filled drinks left in garage were smelly and buggy. None of the spare linens were properly folded, so it was hard to tell whether they were clean or not. Blinds in the family room were broken and could not be fixed while we were there, so our view was obstructed all week. Bathroom window was full of mildew, so I had to clean it. Floor was dirty behind the bathroom toilets and the pocket door had visible proof others had stayed there.) The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes and coffee makers, but we found dirty, unwashed pots under the counter. None of the dishes were put away properly, and there were yogurt tubes left in the fridge. So, once I cleaned up, we were ready for company. Beach chairs and wagon were available. Lots of local information was available for us and there were snacks and lots of paper goods and toilet paper. It's a cute place. We did have a nice time, and enjoyed our visit. Just was disappointing not to be able to open the blinds. And they were not room darkening, so I had to order curtains for the master so we could sleep. Thanks to Amazon, we got the room dark by night 2. Fair warning, the train runs directly out the balcony. It really didn't bother us at all. Also the pool is only 3 feet deep throughout. (There is no lazy river.)
