Sabbia 3401 Condo Stay

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

We arrived at the Playa Moments office to be greeted by Fernando (who informed us that it was his last day on the job).He took us to our condo and quickly showed us the condo and said if there are any issues to let him know then left. We inspected the condo only to find that it was not cleaned at all.(we bought our own cleaning supplies to cleaned the condo. The screen on the sliding door was backwards and did not close properly. The sliding door to the deck was stuck open at least 6 inches and would not close. The bathroom had a putrid smell during our whole stay from the shower drain. The kitchen was supposed to be stocked with dishes for 6 persons but was not even close. The utensils were few and far between and no tea kettle. The blender looked like it was never washed. The bedroom curtains would not close correctly. We got locked in our condo for 5 hours because the door lock would not open and a lock person had to come to open the door and fix the lock for us with no compensation from Playa Moments. Our contract said a cleaning schedule would be supplied to us when we arrived and any extra cleaning was $45.00 USD for a light cleaning and $60.00 USD for a complete cleaning. When we arrived we were informed that there was no cleaning included with our unit and that we would have to pay for any cleaning, towel change and or sheets being washed. So basically we just did our own cleaning so be aware. After speaking with other renters in the complex it was identified that we paid more than them by a great margin (our loss of course). The laundry machine is a single machine that is suppose to wash and dry your laundry (good luck with that). The couch was basically disgustingly dirt (it was at one time white in colour) and sank in the middle when you sat on it. The only saving grace for the condo was the new person that they hired to replace Fernado and his name was Carlos. Carlos looked after all the issues that we brought to his attention and was a blessing. Thanks
