This is our second year in a row coming here for a long weekend away from the Phx heat. Looks like it will become an annual trip... so much to do with trails, creek, pool, playground, etc.
Place and hospitality was very good. On site restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and closes at 8pm, if anyone is interested to know. No breakfast.

Excellent property and location
Had to wait 1 hour past 4 pm checkin after long drive. Not happy!
Property and service were great. After checkin, we enjoyed our stay and will return. After checkin, 5 stars.
We had such a good relaxing weekend in the cabin for the first time.We were very happy with the location and the convenience of the cabin. The inside was perfect too and very clean. Our family loved it and will definitely be coming again soon!
Only one wall unit for 3 rooms, up all night bedrooms were very hot. Windows only able to open less than 2 inches. Not a good
Value for the money spent.
We took our 8 and 9 year old grandsons that had a great time playing in the creek and hiking at trails really close. Pool was nice as was a nice playground.
The cabin exceeded expectations. Roomy, clean, everything you need to live for a week just being your food.
Check in was a nightmare! I think they have a bunch of teenagers running this place. Very dirty cabin with flood damage and mold thru out the cabin. Racoons in the trash every night because no one picked it up. Management decided to start charging for ICE the second day we were there. I have never been to any hotel that charged for ice. they need new management there big time!!
I feel like the website details and pictures of the cabin did not do it justice. For the price, cabin, and most importantly location (on a beautiful river) it was amazing!! We feel so lucky to have found that.
Took my grandkids and Family for a long weekend. They all had the best time on the creek. We spent alot of time on the deck of our cabin enjoying the beautiful scenery. We will come back next summer and make it a tradition.

Rustic and Charming
We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cabins and had an amazing time. The cabin had a huge back deck which overlooked the river and that is where we spent most of our time. The kitchen is small but well equipped, there was also a grill in the little front yard that we used both nights. The decor was rustic but not too dated, lots of wood which you expect for a cabin. We used the hot tub by the pool which was really pleasant. They also had cornhole, a putting green, horse shoes, Ping Pong, basketball and volleyball courts. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked pretty cute. There isn't really any cell phone service (which was a nice escape) but the Wi-Fi was pretty consistent throughout the property. There are some great hikes and activities nearby - we did the Horton Creek Trail but the Tonto Creek Hatchery, Tonto Bridge, the Mogollon Rim and Woods Canyon Lake aren't too far away. Overall, I highly recommend this place - it was a great weekend getaway from Phoenix.

Lovin' this place!
We were on our very first family vacation. Obviously, we had a great deal of high expectations. Wow, we were not disappointed! The staff, facility and location were all incredible. It was chilly, snowy and beautiful there. I especially loved that there were kids' activities scheduled each day and that there were things for the entire family to do. We loved checking out new movies for free from the front desk. Our family will definitely be back often! ;-)
