About this property

The nest!!

Your year round base-camp for activities, events, or just relaxing in the Adirondacks. This stylish brand new one-bedroom apartment is perfect for group trips or if the two of you want to get away by yourselves, also featuring a queen size bed with a Dreamcloud mattress in the private bedroom with a TV, plus two sofa beds and a couch to accommodate more in your group if others are joining you. The apartment is above the garage which is separate from the house.
The space
Make yourself at home in front of the 65-inch TV connected to DIRECTV, Roku, Netflix, and other apps already loaded. Brand new full size appliances with pots and pans to support all your cooking needs in the full kitchen, including ample refrigerator and frozen storage for your groceries and other goodies.

Little Wolf Public beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Across the street there’s the Rail-Trail system which is great for hiking, biking and riding snowmobiles. The Rail-Trail also serves as the path for the historical railroad that is slated to be resurrected and brought back into service sometime this year. Raquette River Brewery, P2’s, a Pizzeria, along with other pubs and restaurants are also in walking distance. . . or all less than a 5 minute drive. In colder months you can ride your snowmobile right up to the door from anywhere that’s accessible to the New York State Snowmobile Association system of trails, as trail C7 conveniently passes right by just across the street.

Unwind at night in front of the 65 inch TV with adjustable mood lighting throughout or augment the stovetop and oven cooking your favorite foods or using the outdoor grill, of which you will have exclusive access, and for guests staying one week or longer, use of our washer and dryer so you don’t have to travel with as many clothes, or so you arrive at your next leg of your vacation with clean clothes.

The property was perfect for us (mom, dad, 13 yr old). It was more spacious than I expected and had everything you could possibly need (including board games). Very clean and the bed and couch were super comfy. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great “home base” for hiking the surrounding areas. The space was very clean and Kevin has thought of everything you could ever need. The bed was super comfortable, as well as the couch. Weekend trip!

We had a wonderful stay at The Nest! It was extremely clean and welcoming! The host even brushed snow off our car following a big storm! We wanted to cook in abd found everything we needed in the kitchen. I was thrilled to find sharp knives! Fantastic place!

This was exactly as described and what we were looking for. My daughter (23) and I were looking for a place to just relax and unwind from busy life schedules just before Christmas. This place was of what we needed. No pressure from the outside world, a nice quiet neighborhood, a hot tub, and 2 very friendly dogs to greet you. We even had a bird house outside our kitchen window that 2 blue jays visited in the morning and a cute little squirrel at night. The host was very responsive with any questions I had. He even invited us to karaoke night to sing Christmas songs. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

The apartment was clean and welcoming! I would suggest some lighting over the sink and the dinner table and maybe a motion light outside the unit to light up the stairway/walkway. The appliances in the kitchen were great, and the bathroom was immaculate and in great working condition! Beautiful weather to enjoy the deck and cook out while enjoying the chickadees and resident chipmunk! Next time I'm in the area I would definitely book again! It was peaceful and quiet :)

Great location for Triad Hike

The Nest is located less than 5 min from gas stations, restaurants, outfitters. We hiked the triad mountains of Tupper Lake and came back to the apt after a long active day. It was so clean, and comfortable . All the amenities made it so convenient. The hot tub was a bonus too .
