Kolea Villas is unique in that has direct access to the beach, Anaeho'omalu Bay or better known as A'Bay.
This quiet villa is a beautifully decorated and fully air conditioned. 15M is on the second floor of Building 15. It is accessible by an elevator or stairs. The pool area is just a few minutes walk. There is an infinity pool, a children's pool with sandy beach and waterfall, a hot tub and a gym. If you prefer the beach, A-Bay is accessible from the pool area. At the beach there is a kiosk offering various water activities, like snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, kite boarding, and sunset cruises.
Kolea Villas is between the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel and the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Hotel and is only 30 minutes from the Kailua-Kona airport.
Kolea 15M is luxurious and has a fully equipped kitchen. The primary bedroom has a king sized bed and television. The primary bathroom has a deep soaking tub, double vanities and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a television. A sliding mahogany door connects this room to the guest bathroom with tub shower and dual vanities. There is an area between the bedroom and bathroom that has a printer in case you need one. The living room has a desk area in case you need to work on your laptop. The unit has excellent wifi. The unit comes with one carport spot for your vehicle. If you have 2 cars, the second car can park in any open space.
There is a BBQ on the lanai for your convenience. If you prefer to eat out, you can walk or drive to either of two nearby open-air shopping areas. There are multiple restaurants available. To see more detail please look up Kings shops or Queen shops in Waikoloa to see a list of restaurants etc. Once you find the website you can also read about the activities around the island. There is plenty to see and do on the Island, from visiting the Volcano National Park, star gazing on Mauna Kea, playing golf, taking a bike riding tour, going horseback riding, to enjoying exotic plants at botanical gardens, and more.
NOTE: For safety reasons, this unit is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Thank you for your understanding. This is a non smoking unit. An extra cleaning fee will be charged for reservations longer than 14 days.
Cancellation Policy Reservations made on or before March 5, 2026: Full refund minus credit card fees if cancelled more than 60 days before check-in. Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable. We had a great time!The condo was so comfortable with high quality amenities; the linens, the shower supplies and the utensils were well stocked.There was a slight challenge with the refrigerator’s ice maker, when I contacted Olivia, the property manager, she was quick with her response and took care of it.It would be wonderful to return.
Great place to stay if vacationing in the big island. Short walk to both the pool and beach. Beautifully decorated. They had everything you could possibly need. Property manager answered on the first ring both times I called. I will go back!
Great location ! Walking distance to the Beach , Shops & Restaurants. Also, just a short drive to the golf course. We enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this place.
We Love staying at Kolea. This is our second time and we will definitely be back. We had an issue with the refrigerator and Olivia with property management was so very accommodating, making sure we were compensated and actually brought in a loaner. We loved that the lanai doors opened up completely. Location is close walking distance to the beach and shopping.
I rarely leave a review on these apps, but I am so blown away by this VRBO stay that I have to leave one. The owner of the property is nothing short of sweet and attentive to every need. The property is just beautiful, it’s also gated! There is a short walk to the pool which is absolutely beautiful, and a short path from the pool to the ocean. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay, better than any hotel. Also, the kitchen appliances/kitchen setup is perfect. This place feels like a slice of home away from home. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back 100%!!! So so happy with our stay and sad to leave!!!!!!!

Kolea one of best Kohala options. This listing great value. Best for active vacationers. No significant view but beach a very short walk away. More importantly, even better beaches and many iconic island activities are easily accessed. Use Revealed guidebook. Kids can be noisy.
Our unit was nicely furnished, could have been a bit more detail given to overall cleanliness, dusting, etc but nothing that would deter from staying here again. No views, other than the pickleball courts and neighboring Kolea buildings.
Would we stay here again? Perhaps, but up the road is Hali'i Kai, another property that suits us a tad better.
First of all, we are so grateful to have been able to obtain a reservation at this property. We had been on the island for nearly a week, when one of our traveling members passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. In order to take care of all the necessary details, three of our group decided to extend our stay a week so that we could hopefully conclude necessary business and bring our friend's ashes home with us. As such, we were definitely booking last minute! On top of that, it was spring break!! We requested to rent at several vacation residences before we found this one, and we were completely relieved when our request was approved. Imagine our surprise when we realized what a find we had scored! This property is truly beautiful. The grounds are amazing; the beach is within walking distance; and the condo is beautiful and well appointed. Everything about the place was great - from bed linens to kitchen accoutrements. We are so fortunate to have found such a restful, and quiet location where we could recoup and work out the many details that required our attention. Thank you so much to our hostess! She was considerate and available! I would recommend this rental without reservation, and I would stay here again in a minute!
