House was perfect for 5 adults and one 8 year old. There was plenty of room to relax on the front or rear porch or gathering inside for family together time. Host was attentive and responsive.

Happy to hear the house worked well for your family and that you had space to relax and enjoy time together!
This property was very welcoming to our family dog. We had 8 adults that stayed here and the accommodations were great. We had a bit of a challenge operating the stove but eventually figured it out. ( one of the fry pans was not compatible with the stove) We had a short but great stay. We would highly recommend this property for a stay in the Ashville area.

Thanks for staying with us and for the helpful feedback. Glad to hear the home worked well for your group and that your dog felt right at home. We appreciate the note about the stove and cookware—our team will take a look at that. Great to hear you enjoyed your time in the Asheville area, and we’d be happy to host you again.
House was very clean and well organized , lovely decor
Stayed here for my son’s graduation at UNCA . Great house nice location. Only lost a star because we had no internet for the entirety of our stay . Would have been nice to watch a movie with the family, catch up on the news and my husband was hoping to catch up on some work during down time. Instead we stared at our phones on the couch

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing your feedback. We're delighted that you found the house and location satisfactory for your son's graduation at UNCA. We regret the inconvenience caused by the internet outage, which was beyond our control due to a lightning storm in the area. We had no control over the time it took the Internet provider to restore service for the area. Despite this, we're glad you enjoyed your overall stay. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an even better experience.
The property would have been perfect for our group. It was clean, well appointed, and well-maintained. There was enough space for all of us to socialize and plenty of room for eating, either inside or out on the covered deck. Having four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom was important for us.
However, because of Hurricane Helene, we were left without several amenities (no water, electricity, Wi-fi, or cell service). We were grateful for the gas grill so that we could cook and the battery operated lanterns for light after sunset.
The host/management company was helpful in trying to find gas stations for us when it came time to leave the Asheville area. If not for the unusual weather conditions the whole area endured, The Fox Den would have been an ideal place for us to stay!

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear that, despite the challenges brought on by Hurricane Helene, you found the property well-suited for your group and appreciated the cleanliness, space, and layout of Fox Den. We understand how difficult the weather conditions were, and we’re happy the gas grill and lanterns helped during your stay. It was our pleasure to assist you with any needs, including finding gas stations before your departure. We hope to welcome you back under better circumstances so you can fully enjoy all that Fox Den has to offer!
The property was probably the cleanest that we had ever stayed in. Perhaps it had been recently renovated. It was very comfortable for the six of us. The beds are all firm and very comfortable. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom, which was great since our two teenagers were able to have their own. I especially enjoyed the back porch with the rocking chairs and the table and seating for outside dining. I also enjoyed watching the wild turkeys that appeared every morning to graze in the grass out back. The only things that prevent me from giving a 5 star rating is that we had trouble with the stove, which had only one burner that worked for the first few days and totally failed the last couple days. However, two repair people came soon after I called and were able to fix it. Also, the obviously very new washer has complex digital settings but there was no instruction book. The owner requested that all the bedding and towels be washed before checkout time at 10 am, which would have required two different loads. We were not able to do this on top of repacking. Another issue was with our Corgi dog, who we took out on a leash to do her business staying close to the house. But I received a call from the owner’s office that a neighbor complained about her going on their property, which is not well demarcated. Because of those few issues, I rate our stay 4.5. Otherwise very enjoyable.

We appreciate your patience with the stove and washer issues, and we’ll take your notes into consideration to make things easier for future guests. Thanks also for letting us know about the dog situation — we’ll review the property boundaries to avoid confusion.
