More beautiful and spacious than we could have imagined! Super clean yet very cozy.
This home is amazing. We have traveled all over the world, and this was one of our all-time favorite houses. Pictures don’t do it justice! The decor is interesting and layered without feeling cluttered or like you’re in someone else’s private space. Fully stocked kitchen- we enjoyed a nice dinner in the historic dining room, and grilled by the pool for another great evening in the large enclosed patio space. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. If you need a nice place to stay, you’ll love it. If you’re into historic homes - you’ll never want to leave! Epic. We’ll be looking for a reason to come back soon.

Welcome to the Corrigan House in Poplar Bluff. Please tell me about your group, including the number of guests, pets, and intended use of the house so we can prepare for your visit.

Why they chose this property

The Corrigan House is only a block from the main downtown area in Poplar Bluff. The Black River Colosseum is across the street and the location is perfect for anyone attending events at the Colosseum. All downtown venues are within 5-15 minuets of walking including the Roger's Theater, the Railroad Museum, and Black River park. As the Gateway to the Ozarks, Poplar Bluff is 45 minuets from the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Lake Wappapello, Mingo National Wildlife preserve, and a host of Mark Twain National Forest and conservation areas.

What makes this property unique

It is a one-of-a-kind house. The dignity and peace of a historic home is a unique feeling during a stay away from home. The Corrigan House and it's ample back yard are an oasis of privacy in the downtown Poplar Bluff area. You are free to enjoy the formal areas but also kick back, grill outside, and have a lovely dinner on the sun porch.
