This cosy upper level studio is perfect for a romantic getaway. The rugged and rustic East Coast provides a quiet retreat, perfect to soak up sunshine or use as a base to explore the island and its many attractions. There are 2 upper level studios in our 10 room property. The space We are one of the few accommodations located on the rugged and beautiful East Coast of Barbados. The National Conservation Area of the Scotland District ensures the beauty and serenity of this special area is preserved. Our studio is located on the upper floor of the 2.5 acre property and features a kitchen with four burner hob, oven, refrigerator and basic cookware and utensils, breakfast bar, en suite bathroom, wifi, cable tv and outdoor seating area offering panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean and rugged coastline as well as our salt water pool and gardens. The poolside clubhouse houses an honour bar, where you can grab a cold beer and snacks, and a propane barbeque grill. To the rear of the property is a small sitting area to take in the garden and hillside and we are a short walk from Walkers Beach; as the name implies, it is perfect for nice long walks. Swimming on this coast is not advisable, however at low tide, rock pools form, providing the perfect place to soak in. Guest access You are free to explore the entire property and find a cozy place to relax. Other things to note Check in is between 3 and 5pm, but with prior arrangement, we can work outside of these times. There is no restaurant on property , but there are kitchenettes in rooms. There is one eatery serving breakfast and lunch within a 10 minute walk. We are happy to stock your room with groceries for your arrival. As we are tucked away in a quiet, remote village, we strongly recommend a hired car, for the most convenient and cost effective way of exploring the island.
