The house is in a neighborhood that felt very safe. There were people walking their dogs in the evening. The host was very good to help in every way that we needed. You really can sleep 14 people at this house. The back yard backs up to a parking lot for the local Walmart. The house sits just off of a busy road. It provides convenience, but you can hear some noise from it. The house was clean and the showers had good water pressure. There is not an ice maker, so we will got some from Walmart. All in all it is an older home with some added updates in a great area.
Nice, clean home. And good location - close to quite a bit of things to do (fowling is pretty fun, would recommend) and good places to eat. We enjoyed our time!
House was clean but had a strange smell that was off putting but was clean. Backyard could use some work. Host were very nice and checked on us. Location was great and the neighborhood was nice and safe.
We stayed for 2 nights. The home was very organized, extra linens were readily accessible, clear check in & out process, and a great living room space. We’d definitely stay here again!
We had plenty of room for our group of 12 adults and an infant. There were ample parking, linens and the home was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing location to stay while taking in all of the sights and activities in KC and surrounding area!
This place was ideal for me and my large group of friends. The kitchen was perfect for making large meals and the living room was perfect for binge watching basketball games. The basketball hoop in the driveway was a nice touch too.
We had a good time just wasn’t enough bathrooms for our large group at this location but we made due with organization. The extra pillows and comforters were a big very comfortable and kept us warm during the night once the temperature dropped.
Clean home and convenient property to all we wanted to do in KC. One major issue is the amount of road noise on Metcalf. Not much can be done about it; but had I known it was that loud and obnoxious I would have looked for something less noisy. Be prepared for tons of road noise.
Not terrible, not great. Had an issue of a bunch of ants getting into the kitchen with all doors and windows closed. Also woke up one morning to find out the thermostat was set to 83 on the schedule.Overall, the place was fine and it was big enough to sleep a large group.
Just the spot we needed, close to everything we wanted. Lovely space for hosting a very overdue small family visit in a town where none of my family's homes are workable gathering spots. Very close to Micro Center, which may not be a selling point for everyone but was a definite plus. Backyard would be great in warmer weather. Master bedroom gets nice morning light, bummer we couldn't use the fireplace in the den obviously set up for it but oh well. I appreciated them leaving us tea and coffee, and the TVs are very nice. Couch in main living room was a little saggy but whatever. Not a ton of character in this place, fairly gray and sterile remodel with VERY white overhead lighting that wasn't great in the evenings, but cozy beds and plenty of extra bedding, good showers, spacious fridge, I'd give it a 5 if they fixed the lighting to be less intense at night. Owner gave us a very necessary late checkout to accommodate us wrangling the kids, and for the money definitely better than any other hotel in the area.
