The home was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and located in a private, quiet setting. One feature we especially appreciated was the adjustable air conditioning units in each room, which allowed everyone to stay comfortable throughout our stay. The owners were fantastic to work with—communication was easy, responses were always quick, and they provided helpful information about the area before our arrival. We were also very grateful for the detailed directions and photos showing the driveway entrance, which made finding the property simple and stress-free.Overall, this was an excellent experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. We hope to have the opportunity to return in the future!

Family retreat

Loved the house! It’s a bit isolated (private) and the long drive to it was more suited for an SUV than my sedan. Would definitely rent again.

Escape from Hurricane Helene

The facilities were new so everything was clean, except the cleaner must have been interrupted before finishing the last few things - dirty cups in the sink and a curtain not hung in a bedroom (but lying on the bed). And, the downstairs patio was very dusty and cobwebby. Every room was nicely furnished and very roomy for our family. The owner was quick to answer texts, and made a special trip to get the kayak out of the garage. There are lots of windows and the back view is very pleasing. The description provided no views from the front of the house - this area is “in progress”. The stream is good for fishing and tubing/kayaking. It is very shallow in places but has some deeper holes. The Chattanooga Aquarium and several apple orchards are within a 45 minute drive. We enjoyed our escape from Hurricane Helene.

Interior was in excellent condition. There were several exterior items that were blown over & scattered. The patio on the back side had several items not put up after last visit & was extremely dirty. Unable to sit on the cushions. The gravel drive could use some extra attention for several pot holes. The pictures made it seem like the river would be easy to access. There was no way to get in due to overgrowth along the bank. The hiking trail was also overgrown & full of poison ivy. Overall, we really liked it & had a great stay!
