I live in Chicago. I love to find real estate, start new businesses, hike, ski, fish, hunt and chat.... I have been entrepreneurial over my 55 years from commodity trading, shopping centers, coffee shops, hat manufacturer, bar owner and a lot of crazy real estate .... and this is one of my projects..
Chris purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Chris chose Silver Star
I love the drive down the valley between Butte and Dillon. When I purchased this property it was basically a dump. Over the pass ten years I have cleaned the property up, moved the trapper cabins to the property, chinked them, electrified and plumb them. My heart and soul is in this property and buildings.
What makes this Cabin unique
In the morning I love to have my coffee looking over the small meadow to the south of the cook house searching for birds and animals, but always listening to the river. I love and try to get alittle fishing most afternoons on the banks of the property or the riffles just above. At the end of the day I really enjoy walking around the property and up the river with a glass of scotch and a cigar. I really try wander over to my friend Mark's who owns and operates the Great Waters Inn next door. I need to check on his Fly Fishing guests to hear how their day was. I stop by the lodge's cozy bar to see my 13 foot Blue Marlin where it now lives. Many times I will stay for dinner, they have an excellent new chef. I am always keeping an eye open for a wandering moose, or hovering ospray or eagle. The mules deers or white tails usually move thru in the afternoon.
