Sacandaga Lake access, kayaks, private yard, 30 minutes to Saratoga
Adorable cottage nestled in the pines on 100 x 200 ft. lot with no houses behind. Sleeps 6. Waterfront deck and lake access are 1/4 mile walk/drive down the street. (Just before Lanzis' Lakeside Tavern/Marina Restaurant. Use of two kayaks are included. Backyard has a gas grill and campfire area. We are located on the south end of Sacandaga Lake, near Scout Island. Plenty of good restaurants, shopping and entertainment close-by. Holland Meadows Golf Course is only a few miles away. Adirondack Animal Farm 1 mile away. Mayfield Town beach 10 minutes away.
Saratoga Performing Arts Center ( and Racetrack are only a half hour away.
Lake George Village and Six Flags Indoor Water Park is only an hour away.

Three private bedroom (4 beds), 2 queen, 2 twin bunk, large family room, remodeled bathroom. Peaceful and quiet, campfire area, gas grill, patio set seats 6, Great spot to relax and enjoy going to the beach, boating, campfires and the beautiful Sacandaga Lake.
Use of two kayaks and canoe are included with the rental from Memorial weekend to end of September. Boat launches and boat rentals are a short drive away.
The Great Sacandaga Lake is one of the Adirondacks' largest lakes, measuring 29 miles long and about 5 miles wide at its widest point. It's a haven for outdoor adventure, offering plenty of fishing, boating, snowmobiling activity in all four seasons. Lakeside dining on the Sacandaga Lake is wonderful!

Much of the lake is located in the southeastern part of the forever-wild Adirondack Park Preserve. The lake was created by the damming of the Sacandaga River to provide flood control in the Hudson Valley and for recreational opportunities. The lake is one of the largest in Region 5, and because of its size, there are many different types of fish to meet any fishermen's desire. The NYS record Northern Pike was caught here in 1940.

NYS Department of Environmental Conservation has 4 boat launches on the lake. The Northville Boat Launch site located off of route 30 in the village of Northville has a hard ramp and parking for 60 cars and trailers. The Town of Day Boat Launch site on North Shore road in Saratoga County offers a hard ramp and parking for 40 cars and trailers. The Northampton Beach Campground and Day use area provides a boat launch as well as places to fish from shore on the lake and camp. The Broadalbin Boat Launch site off of county route 110, 3 miles northeast of Village of Broadalbin has a hard surface ramp parking for 60 cars and trailers.
Fishing -
Fish found within this lake include: largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brown bullhead, northern pike, walleye, redbreast sunfish, rock bass, brown trout, rainbow trout, common carp, and black crappie. Great Sacandaga Lake offers a variety of fishing opportunities for many different species of fish. The DEC stocks 12,000 rainbow trout into the deeper sections of the lake each year. The Fish Federation stocks two year old brown and rainbow trout. There can also be brook trout and landlocked salmon found in
