Ask a questionAbout Khalida Lockheed & Alexander Jimenez
We are a Tico-Gringa couple living on the property who met here in 1993 and have two little monkeys of our own. He hails from neighboring Cóbano and she comes all the way from New Jersey, USA. After living in The Big Apple for 9 years, we decided to move back to the 'ol hometown in 2006 so the kids could swap jungle gyms for the jungle, and we happily left computer maintenance and children's animated television behind! Because of our bicultural heritage and our deep roots in the local community, we are able to provide you with an authentic Costa Rican experience that also respects the unique concerns of tourists from abroad.
Khalida Lockheed & Alexander Jimenez purchased this house in 2005
Why Khalida Lockheed & Alexander Jimenez chose Montezuma
The beautiful views of the ocean and the mainland beyond, the lush jungle and abundant wildlife, the unique location bordering the Montezuma River, and the proximity to Montezuma village yet secluded feeling was what attracted us to this spot. It is one of only a few properties in this area that have these sought after features.
What makes this house unique
This is one of a very few properties in Montezuma with private access to the world famous Montezuma River and Waterfalls. We border 800 meters of the river in a secluded spot with many private waterfalls and dipping pools. The river also ensures a very vibrant and healthy community of wildlife. Most guests say that they have seen more wildlife here than anywhere else they have traveled in Costa Rica!
