We really enjoyed our stay here! The space was just right for our needs, and it was wonderful to have access to a fishing dock and kayaks—such a lovely bonus. There were plenty of games to keep everyone happy and entertained. The beds were very comfortable, which made our nights even better. The only small hiccup was the roach problem in the kitchen and pantry, but when I let the host know, she was surprised and assured me she would take care of it right away. Overall, it was a lovely experience! I will definitely keep this place in my list of favorites.

Sheila was a wonderful host, the house was beautiful, and we loved the waterfront views. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips - delicious coffee, lovely furniture and dinner ware, and the whole house was sooooo tastefully decorated. It was like having our own resort in our former (before Hurricane Michael) neighborhood! We plan to return often!
Grandma, 92, loved the outside area.
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday with the whole family!
My husband, an old (70) Navy vet, really enjoyed watching the fish play from the dock.

Bayou front oasis

Super home! Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Kayaks and dock were a huge hit with our kids. The master bedroom has a lovely office overlooking the water and a wonderful master bath. Will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at “Heron Bayou” The pictures only tell a one dimensional story. The main event is the water view with its ever changing form. Such a perfect setting to watch & listen to nature. Even had a dolphin visit. The location was quiet during our stay off season. The interior of the home has comfortable furniture, bedding & quality linens.The kitchen had everything needed to prepare & serve meals. There was an abundance of disposable supplies provided & cooking spices, oils etc. Host was available for initial questions & we knew we could feel comfortable contacting if there was any further need.

Sheila was the best host. Easy to communicate with and very responsive to all our needs. The home is beautiful, clean, and nicely stocked with your basic needs. The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and the Kayaks.Morning coffee on the back deck with the water view was perfect. We will stay here again.
