This spacious and lovely home is located within a walled complex of three homes total (each home is completely apart from each other with separate entrances), surrounded by beautiful gardens. Here you will feel like you are in your own little oasis away from everything, but still very conveniently located very close to downtown. This 3 bedroom home has a large kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals, a separate dining room, a cozy living room, and and library/work area. Relax on the front patio where you can enjoy the beautiful garden, or take a nap in the hammocks on the second floor balcony, or sunbathe on the rooftop terrace. The surrounding lush garden makes it feel like a real getaway!
Casa Paloverde sleeps 6 people comfortably in three air-conditioned bedrooms. One bedroom is located on the downstairs floor, with its own en-suite full bathroom. The master bedroom is located on the second floor, also with its own en-suite full bathroom. The third bedroom is also on the second floor with its own ensuite. The two upstairs bedrooms have an interconnecting door which can be left open or closed; this feature is nice for families with small children. There is also an additional half bathroom off the living room. The showers have both hot and cold water. Each bedroom has an individually controlled air conditioning unit and comfortable bedding.
The house has free internet (but can be quite slow, this is Galapagos after all), a tv with a dvd player, washer and dryer, and a land line that can be used for local calls or to receive international calls.
The house is just a short walk to downtown Puerto Ayora and very near the entrance to the trail that takes you to the stunning Tortuga Bay Beach. The walk to the beach along the trail takes approx 30 min, but well worth it! The neighborhood is called "Barrio Las Ninfas", and is about a 4 minute walk from the main road, and about a 6-7 minute walk from the main dock area.
The house is ideal for families, friends, and for couples who wish to have a bit more space for themselves. All ages welcome!
