Bemus Point Beauty!!! Sager Creek Lodge is a multi-generational family-owned cottage/lodge available for week and weekend rental throughout the year. Located in the greater Chautauqua area on 40 beautiful acres, it is a serene respite less than 1.5 hours from Buffalo and ONLY 10 minutes from Bemus Point and Lake Chautauqua. This rustic cottage/lodge comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, perfect for family vacations. The property boasts year-round and seasonal activities for all ages and local golf, dining, and attractions are a short drive away. Many restaurants, gift shops, golf courses, wineries, antique shopping, amish shops, Southern Tier Brewery, Peek n' Peek ski resort is 40 min. away, Bemus Point is 10 min away, and the historic Chautauqua Institute is only 20 min. away. Convenient to many things, yet set in a quiet country area on 40 acres to explore. Spring-fed pond w/small beach for swimming. Large barn with pool table, ping pong table, bar, card table. Great Getaway!

Overall this was exactly what we were looking for! The house was on a 40-acre property, but the house was just off the road - easily accessible. Definitely want to come prepared because the nearest store/gas station was about 15 minutes away. The property was open and beautiful - lots of games and activities to do! Noreen was very responsive and helpful. Can't wait to stay again!

I love to fish! Great fishing on Lake Chautauqua. But I love the solitude of just relaxing at Sager Creek Lodge with no neighbors. Sitting in the yard or by the creek/firepit is SO relaxing!

What makes this property unique

Sliding doors open to a grassy area surrounding the cottage, with a gas grill, gazebo, deck, water garden, and plenty of seating for dining al fresco. We also have a horseshoe pit, and space for your favorite lawn games (don’t forget to bring your bocce, croquet, and ladder toss sets). Our barn has a card table, pool table, ping pong table, and bar/seating area. (not available mid-Oct. to late-April) No smoking in barn or lodge.

The back side of the cottage, just outside the bistro room, is home to the firepit. Extra chairs provide seating for everyone around the campfire.

A basketball hoop is installed outside the barn.

Take the path out back behind the barn up to our pond. It has a sandy beach with chairs. The depth in the middle reaches 15 feet. Bring your own floats and fishing poles (catch and release). Beyond that lay 40 acres with various trails for hiking, bird-watching, and seasonal hunting.
