The beach dunes have been refurbished, as of 4/2023, and new walkway crossovers are completed. The beach is wide open and ready to be enjoyed.

Cape San Blas has its two convenience stores (oneis being rebuilt0 & gas station open, along with St. Joe Shrimp Company fish market (also serving lunch) open. Weber’s Doughnuts is open, now locat ed near Scallop Republic. Bicycle/ kayak rentals are operating. Nearby restaurants on the Cape include Longbills, Coneheads. The golf course is open.


In Port St. Joe, restaurants are open. The Piggley Wiggley and Dollar General supermarkets are open. The Turtle Townhouse is located on Cape San Blas, with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and St. Joseph's Bay on the other. Located in Barrier Dunes, a gated community with private beach access. White sand, emerald green water, dolphins playing near shore, make this pristine beach, 18 miles long, a wonderful stretch of paradise where you can walk to your heart's content. Many times you will be the only one on the beach.

Families will not only enjoy the warm sand and water, but also the two pools, stocked fishing ponds and the lighted tennis/pickle-ball courts in Barrier Dunes. Golfers will find the St. Joseph's Bay Country Club course (just a 15 minute drive away) challenging and scenic.

Barrier Dunes is located at the gate of the St. Joseph's Bay State Park which offers beautiful hiking trails along the bay, magnificent dunes, and outstanding bird watching. St. Joseph's Bay offers a wealth of activities including boating, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and some of the best scalloping in the Gulf.

This townhouse has three balconies, two with views of the pond and its many turtles. The decks have outside seating, a patio table with umbrella, a gas grill, and great morning sun.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the guest bedroom has a queen bed, and there is a fold-out queen sleeper sofa. It comfortably sleeps six. Beds have 100% cotton sheets. The fully-stocked kitchen has many amenities including an ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, and all small appliances.

The master bedroom has a full bath with two sinks, garden tub and large separate shower. It has a large walk-in closet.

The guest bedroom has a full bath with tub/shower combination.

The living room and bedrooms have HD-TVs with streaming. DVD player is available in living room. WIFI is available(provided by Consolidated).

There are beach chairs, umbrellas, kick-boards, some sand buckets & toys available for use in the storage room off the carport. There is an outdoor shower with hot & cold running water. It's great for cleaning sand off or washing your dog. We have two new 26" adult bicycles (one male, one female) available for use by renters.

There are numerous turtles in the pond behind the townhouse, thus the name Turtle Townhouse. The turtles will come to see you if you come out on the deck, and they like to eat lettuce/carrot shavings, if you want to feed them.

Cape San Blas is a special place. It is relaxing and you will be glad that you found this place.
There are NO HIGH-RISES or cabanas on Cape San Blas.
