Panoramic Private Beachfront Home with Breathtaking Views

You have found the vacation property whose name says it all GEMSTONES, located in Southampton, Bermuda. Gemstones is a luxury villa on its very own private beach. Upon arrival as you approach the property all you can say is 'WOW!'. This three bedroom accommodation has an open plan design with a large balcony off the dining room where you can enjoy panoramic views of the south shore. With another balcony off the master bedroom, fresh coffee and the sunrise will start your day off just right. In the master bedroom a king sized bed, Jacuzzi, and the walk through closet will make you feel right at home. The loft serves as a forth bedding area with a king size futon that can be converted to two single beds. This property has all the comforts you will desire. Wifi available. A fully appointed Viking kitchen and a Sub Zero refridgerator, full laundry and a large back patio area for those summer bar-b-ques. Enjoy your favorite beverage as you nestle by the fireplace in the sunken living room. The breakfast nook is an additional area allowing you further relaxation. Perfect place to read a good book as you watch the waves wash in and roll out gently over the pink sand. Reverse air conditioners are located in selected areas throughout the house. This resort area has the finest restaurants and a major bus route for convenience at the top of “de hill” all within walking distance.

We no longer offer private dining services with Chef Greg since he has choosen Permaculture gardening and composting with his company Food Forest. The only farm of this kind in these islands.

Due to popular demand, our Deck House unit is also available under listing #914639. This fully independent apartment is a queen size studio affording additional accommodation for 2 guests only. Located at the lower western end of the property. This unit is a charming fully appointed studio complete with a queen bed full kitchen and modern bathroom.

Should you require more or addition accommodations, our daughter Tiara Wilson own and manages Crown Point Concierge- a highly sort off company in the luxury vacation rental business. Keep in mind there is no place like Gemstones. There I said it....now come and "feel the love". Hope to see you soon.

The beach access and water views were outstanding. The beach felt very secluded, relaxing, and had great snorkeling. Very easy walking to the bus stop, Henry VIII, Henry VIII Pantry, and the lighthouse. Horseshoe Bay is also walkable in 20-30 minutes. The home is very clean, well-stocked, and had plenty of space for our family of 5. We ate most of our meals at the house. The kitchen and grill had everything we needed for preparing meals. We had access to a shared utility room with plenty of beach supplies such as chairs, boogie boards, and toys.Lorna was an amazing host and provided us with recommendations for airport transportation, grocery shopping, places to eat, and spots for sightseeing.

A special place

Lovely, bright, clean, and cool. There is no better place to stay on the island. A stones throw from a beautiful beach, a chef's dream kitchen, and lots of natural light, this is the place to stay!

I can’t say enough about the house, the location or Lorna, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. There are some board games, a stocked kitchen, and beach toys and towels. Absolutely a perfect trip. A+

Magnificent Views

The Gemstones was comfortable and well appointed. The owner was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. It had lots to recommend it but the views were out of this world.

Family Vacation

Gemstones was the perfect spot for our family. 6 adults and 2 children. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals when we didn’t eat out. Snorkeling gear was great to have . It is a short walk to Church bay where you can snorkel (big beautiful fish swimming close to beach). The kids loved having the beach right there. We stayed in main house and had plenty of room for everyone.

Best rental ever in Bermuda

I've been renting for six years from Home Away and VRBO and this was, by far, the best rental ever. This house has it all, from the sub zero fridge and flat screen tv's and comfy beds to one of the best views in Bermuda. Our hosts were very nice people and very accommodating. This one is definitely on our must come back to list!

What a delight. The house was great, the location was wonderful and the pictures do not do this property justice. Lorna and Gregg were the best hosts. Gregg prepared dinner for us and it was the best meal that we had in ages. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect house on private beach in paradise

Our family of five stayed here for four nights and it was heaven. The location of this house on this private, gorgeous beach cannot be beat. Hosts Lorna and Greg are the sweetest and kindest. The house is huge, clean, with every amenity. It pained us to leave. If we visit Bermuda again, there is no other place we will stay than Gemstones. Thank you, Wilsons!

Perfect spot

Gemstones was the absolute perfect home for our family to vacation. The home was very comfortable and the location was great. The views were just breathtaking and the private beach was incredible. We brought snorkels and so glad we did as the snorkeling was great right at the beach. This is a rare case where the pictures do not properly capture the overall experience of the home, so it more than exceeded our expectations. Another added bonus was Lorna and her family. She was so kind and hospitable. My kids even got to play with her granddaughters…a treat for them. Thank you for everything, Lorna and family!

This property offers breathtaking views, spacious inside, and a private beach making it a paradise!

We spent a long weekend in November at Gemstones and it was a slice of paradise. Lorna is a gracious host and made us feel welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Besides the beach below there are so many outdoor areas to explore on foot we didn't have enough time to experience it all. The house was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with necessary items for cooking meals. We loved our time in Bermuda again and we will definitely consider coming back to Gemstones. It is a special place!

Awesome and Wonderful

This is an outstanding property in a great Southampton location. The house sits atop a hill with unobstructed views of the ocean and great ocean breezes. The house and its contents are beautiful, fully equipped, and luxurious. It is all even better than the descriptions and pictures. Our family and friends had an awesome time. The hosts are wonderful, warm, and welcoming people. We hope and plan to be back soon.

Great House, Great Views, Great Beach, Great Location Great Value

Short Title says it all. Loran Wilson Property owner greeted us and had cocktails and Pizza with us night one. How GREAT is that! House has everything you need if you plan on eating in as well as every beach thing from Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Snorkel, rafts etc. Great location on South Shore. Look no further...This is the place. We’ll be back !!!!

5 Stars for the gorgeous views and helpfulness of the hosts, our driver Sylvia was a treat. Great place to sit on patio and enjoy the scenery. Close enough to hear the ocean, day and night. The overall review is 4 Stars because the quality of construction is average. Fairmont Resort and Henry VIII restaurant are walking distance, as is beach. Other than that it is a taxi (Sylvia will take you or arrange) or nearby bus stop.

Great Stay!

We had an amazing stay at Gemstones! The home and bedrooms were beautiful and perfect for our 3-generation family of 7. The beach at the bottom of the hill was fabulous for swimming and snorkeling and the little ones loved the sand for sand castles, it was one of our favorites beaches! The views from the decks were phenomenal and a great place to enjoy the sunrise and morning coffee, the afternoon sunshine and the evening sunsets. Lorna was a great host and readily available to answer any questions or give tourist advice, we had nice visits together on the beach too! Ate at Henry’s several times, great food. Bus was super easy, fun and efficient and bus stops super convenient to the house both directions.

Our Daughters Wedding

We spent 4 nights at the Gemstone while visiting Bermuda for our Daughters wedding. The home along with its views were more beautiful than pictures could describe. I couldn't thank Lorna enough for her warm welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed on our stay. The wedding was everything my Daughter and her new Husband dreamed of and our stay at the Gemstone was the icing on the cake ! Lorna, thanks again for everthing and we hope to see you soon.

Wonderful

Wonderful and Amazing stay at Gemstones. Perfect spot for a family or in this case a group of friends on a golf trip. Private beach with an incredible, almost surreal, view of beautiful water, beach and rocks right out the front door...a privilege to stay here. House was in impeccable shape upon arrival. Lorna is accommodating available for anything that is needed. Sylvia and team provided all transportation to and from airport, golf courses, restaurants, etc. that was needed, spot on and with a lifetime of knowledge and grace that was again was a privilege to be able to experience... Great vacation!

Gemstones is all you see in the pictures and more. The four of us stayed in the spacious large suite with three bedrooms that could accommodate six adults very comfortably. And the bonus loft room was perfect for evening board or card games. A full laundry room means you can pack at little lighter too. Very nice deck and balcony to enjoy morning coffee or a sunset dinner. The beach is phenomenal. Powder sand, great swimming plus it's empty a large part of the day. A peaceful, relaxing location with short walks to the Henry VIII restaurant and Southhampton Princess for cycle renting or golf. Thanks Lorna for a wonderful stay! Robert

No Words Can Describe. . . .

I'm embarrassed it has taken me a couple of months to write this review. My mother, and my 3 sisters stayed here for 3 nights and made friends for life. The house is perfect and Lorna and Greg are the most wonderful landlords, friends, hosts you could ever wish for. We have booked the house for a week next Summer already. That says it all. Wonderful week at Gemstones!

We spent a wonderful week in Southampton Parish at Gemstones. Lorna was an excellent host and took care of anything we needed, including providing the name of an excellent driver who took us around the island, to our activities, and to our dinner reservations each night. The property itself is located on the southern part of the island near a casual restaurant and within walking distance to a lighthouse that has a great view of the island. The details of the house were just fantastic—from the mosaic tilework on the steps, to the beautiful artwork on the walls, to the houseplants that welcome you to each room. The beach is amazing and very private with stunning views, especially during every sunrise and sunset. The chickens and vegetable garden just added to the natural beauty of this lovely home. Thank you!

Lovely Gemstones

Gemstones was a gorgeous property! The house complete with the views is a rare find in rentals. The spaciousness of the rooms could easily handle large groups. Updated appliances were featured throughout the house making it comfortable for us all. Quick access to the beach as well as to the bus stop and to an excellent restaurant made our days easy. Outside deck and seating areas were enjoyed all throughout the day. Beach toys and equipment were at our fingertips if we wished. Information about the house as well as the surrounding area was presented thoroughly through the VRBO site and through books left at the house. The only drawback for us was with the TVs: 1. There was no instruction sheet letting us know how to make them work. Lorna and George were terrific hosts! Go to Gemstones! You won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous views, beautiful apartment, pristine beach.

Our best friends and I brought our kids (two couples each with two young kids); we should have stayed longer! Thank you Lorna and Greg for the excellent accommodations and experience! The main apartment is spacious and beautifully furnished. It has gorgeous views from multiple rooms and two balconies. The breakfast nook was my favorite place to stare at the beach/ocean early in the morning when the kids were all asleep. The beach is close enough that someone in our group was there multiple times per day. The beach was amazing, especially for kids. It was very private with only a few people on it whenever we were there. The upside to the beach path is it kept us in shape on our trip! Its quite steep but saves a few minutes of walking over the alternatives. My four year old was able to navigate it.
