Perfect place for an FSU gathering weekend

We stayed for graduation weekend with friends and family. It was the perfect location to the campus and everything in town. The house had a great back porch for hanging out with everyone. It was roomy for all the different families.

Cozy Split Level

Took a little while to adjust to the layout, but we found the different spaces worked really well for our group. Plenty of space and just what we needed. The back yard was a great space for the kids and we blew a lot of bubbles!

Home appeared better online than it was

Online showed as being 3 bathrooms. The home only had 2 full baths. With a large group it is difficult to have only 2 showers. There is a strong dog Oder in the home. Otherwise, everything was good. Beds were comfortable rooms were good size. Water stayed hot. Kitchen was well stocked.

Grad weekend

House is older but in decent shape... layout a bit funky but that’s fine. Beds were comfy enough and kitchen was decently stocked. The way it’s written is a bit misleading as there are only 2 full baths (and 2 half baths) not 3 full baths which is a bit tricky with 10 people. Host was very responsive and checkin was seamless. Only real issue was the cleaning people need to step it up. Also someone needs to reach out to the neighbor about their dog barking throughout the night.

Felt mislead

The location was fantastic, and check-in was very easy. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The property was not as advertised—construction was ongoing, with metal plates and exposed nails, making it unsafe for children and elderly guests. Cleanliness was a major issue; the couch was stained, did not function properly, and was extremely dirty underneath. The kitchen lacked basic essentials like salt and sugar, and the cookware was very low quality, with scratched Teflon on all the pots and pans. We even had to order a large bowl from Walmart because there wasn’t one available. Additionally, there was no smoke detector, which is a major safety concern, and the layout was very wonky, making the space feel awkward and impractical. Overall, we felt misled by the photos, as the actual condition of the space did not match expectations.
