Our chalet is the ultimate place to enjoy a great time with your family while enjoying amazing views. There is ample space and an open concept encouraging everyone to share incredible moments. From soaking in the jacuzzi, enjoying a game room area, watching a movie in the theatre or spending time by the fireplace, this chalet is your ultimate vacation destination. Located only 5 min from Ober and Gatlinburg. Access to all the resort amenities: gym, pools, tennis and kids playgrounds! (Seasonal)

This six bedrooms and seven and a half bath chalet offers all the comfort and amenities to enjoy a great stay!

The Chalet Village has three clubhouses with pools, gym, tennis and other amenities.

All are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THE PASS WITH YOU TO ACCESS

They are located at:

1319 SOUTH BADEN DRIVE -> This facility is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.

705 VILLAGE LOOP ROAD -> North Clubhouse is closed Wednesdays for maintenance.

1151 UPPER ALPINE ROAD -> This facility is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

★ STARTER KITS ★

We do supply a starter kit including bar soap, liquid dish soap, dish tabs for dishwasher, toilet paper, laundry pod and paper towels. This will prevent you to have to go to the store the first night but plan to buy more so you are covered during the full length of your stay.



★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.



★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★

Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.



★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.



★ ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION ★

Traveling in a larger group, or your preferred dates are already taken? You'll be happy that we offer additional accommodation in The Smokies. Please browse our host profile for the complete list of our listings.



★ KIDS ★

As parents, we know that traveling with the kiddos requires additional luggage. To simplify your stay, we have a pack and play and a high chair for your convenience.



★ NATURE ★

Being in nature means you may encounter some wildlife. Inside the cabin, you might see some harmless insects despite our regular pest control process. They sometimes make their way in between cleans but rest assured that the place is treated regularly. Also, if you are lucky enough to spot any bears, raccoons, turkeys, or mice outside, please keep them there! They are all attracted to the smell of cooking food and garbage. We highly recommend you don't invite them to dinner and DO NOT FEED THEM.



★ FIREPLACE ★

Fireplace is off from April 1st to September 30th.



★ TV and WIFI ★

The cabin offers WIFI in all areas. TV has access to various streaming platforms including Netflix. Guests can log into their accounts.

The house keeping didn’t do good. There were spiders and webs throughout the house. The mattress needed updated. We had to move cabins two days into stay because something happened to the septic. Making the whole house stink. There was Christmas decor when we got there. When we let them know it was still up, they came and took down the Christmas tree but left the other Christmas decor up.

Not exactly like pictures. It was ok. All the ladies in the group enjoyed it. Plenty of rooms for all. The visiting bear was a hoot. The drive up was a bit much for a group of seniors but we survived. Will rethink location next time.

I would've given it a 5 star but there was 3 things wrong. The power went out in my room and we couldn't get it back on, the power plug was missing from the arcade game that my daughter and I was looking forward to playing together, and the water in the kitchen faucet doesn't work properly. The water barely works. Overall, he house was great!! Get those things fixed and it will be perfect!

Great location at the top of the mountain

We had a great time at the chalet. It is all the way to the top, overlooking Gatlinburg. One has to be careful on the narrow winding roads, especially when the weather does not cooperate. We appreciated the space, especially the game room, home theater, and hot tub. The view of the Smokies is impressive. We even saw some black bears early morning on the last day. Overall a great stay!

Amazing views and amenities

This cabin's location is amazing. You're so high up in the mountain and the view is breathtaking. All of the bedrooms were nice, the movie room was so fun, and the game room in the basement. There was a bear "nest" in the tree right off the balcony that the bear came back to every night. We saw at least 3 bears a day just at the cabin! (We stayed in late July) Also, the property owners were quick with any questions or concerns that we had. This was the perfect cabin for a friends trip. Highly recommend!

Mixed Feelings

The location and view were wonderful. The house is good for large groups. Unfortunately, we found some linens hadn’t been changed, floors were dirty, supplies were missing, and dirty underwear and other disgusting things were in drawers and under beds. Host made corrections by the next day so it was quickly handled.

We were very impressed with the accommodations and view. the only suggestion we would have, is to offer a few through blankets to use if it's cool outside or watching a movie in the theater room. Also, we were surprised we could not walk around due to the roads being so skinny... Maybe mention on the website. Overall I give it a 10!!!! It was a great place to stay. Thank you very much. Smokey Mountain Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful weekend trip at this Chalet. The views were breathtaking! We were greeted by a family of bears when we arrived which was really neat. The lodging is laid out very nicely and accommodated all 12 of us with no problem. Overall very clean however there were a few dead ladybugs and flies in one corner of the living room. I would say the bathrooms could use updating as there were some areas in the showers with mold and chipping. Jean was very responsive and polite. The batteries in our electric door lock died and he quickly took care of this issue. Would definitely stay again!

Gatlinburg mountain cabin - Jean-Baptiste Property

We had a great time. The cabin was roomy and nice. I love that all but one of the bedrooms had a king sized bed - and there were more than enough bathrooms. We saw bears several times. Communication with the owner/property manager was great. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the lighting was a little dim. It was fine during the day because there are lots of windows that allow for lots of sunlight, but once the sun went down, we didn't feel there was bright enough lighting in the dining room/living room areas. Brighter lighting on the main floor would be nice, but it didn't stop us from having a great time!

The sixth bedroom was for children. Comforters were kind of bed spreads. Toilets or showers not functioning properly and management could not able to arrange to fix toilets or shower controller. Parking space is limited for twelve peoples or at least six couples.

Thank you for staying with us ! I wanted to comment that the sixth bedroom has a trundle bed which is not for children per say but I can understand that it is not the best for a couple. We clearly show all the bedrooms arrangements on the description and floor plans. We also clearly show the parking area which fits easily 4 cars but indeed 6 is a stretch. Regarding the shower and toilet, this has already been fixed by our team. Once issues are reported we always immediately fix them. We do hope that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again int he future!

Excellent property but not for those with acrophobia

The property itself was great only complaint was the water pressure in the showers but that was not a deal breaker. I do wish I would have seen a review that stated how high up the mountain side the property was. We were only 2ish miles from town and the trip took us 15 minutes due to the slow speed needed to travel up the mountain with the twist and turns and the steep banks along the narrow road. I have a fear of heights and it took a few days to get used to the altitude change.But if you can handle that please rent this property. The views, the hot tub, the amenities were all terrific.And the host was always there to answer our questions. Five stars for Jean.
