This was a large and beautiful property in easy walking distance of downtown Davis and the farmers market. Perfect for two families with kids. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the spacious kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. Our host Darish was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The place was a perfect size for my family of 8. Everyone had their own space. We were able to walk to the university in under 15 minutes. The farmers market is also a very short walk away. The neighborhood was quiet most of our stay and we were able to sleep soundly each night. The kitchen was will stocked for such a large group of guests to prepare meals.

The house is very clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. Our kitchen was well equiped with everything that we needed to make meals at home. The location was central to our activities. Our host was very pleasant and friendly with great communication. It was easy to get our transit van in and out of the garage with plenty of room. We would definitely choose to stay here again! From the host, through the home, amenities, detailed attention to our comfort, keurig pods, hand soap in every bathroom, towels and beautiful furnishings…amazing! Beautiful home

This property is a beautifully remodeled home with all the amenities. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were beautiful, and kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that we would have liked is more linens. It wasn't an issue, but would have been nice to have a few extra towels, some blankets if it was colder, and a couple of dishtowels. Otherwise, it was perfect. Great location, easy to walk to campus or downtown. Owner was very helpful and responsive. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

Stay in davis

It was a really nice house but was pretty stark. There were not many things to cool with like oil or seasoning. No detergent to do laundry. The house was very nice inside but little extras like laundry detergent and spices goes a long way.

We will be sure to stock the house with a variety of spices for future guests. Regarding the laundry detergent, our washing machine is a newer model combo unit that dispenses detergent and softener automatically. It is refilled after each guest and should be sufficient for up to 15 cycles. We will, however, consider adding a note on top of the unit for better clarification. Lovely home, great design and open space. However, the decor could use a few more things. Needs grab bars in showers and reading lights by the beds. Could use the suitcase holders in the bedrooms. The water from the refrigerator is not drinkable; should be checked out. This may sound critical but we still had a great stay. Thank you.

Friends visiting a Davis friendu

The (very) good: The place itself. Nicely designed. Spacious. Bedrooms and baths really nice. Very clean throughout. Garage EV charger a plus! A few very picky requests: Dish towels, hand towels in powder room, facial tissue,Larger dining table if more than 4 people stay, only 3 wine glasses, tv instruction missing but we did figure something out, emergency info.Important for future: add dimmers to dining and living room lighting. Very bright at night. However we made do with kitchen lights and that worked out. Screen doors will be important in warmer weather to keep out mosquitos. We really had quite a lovely stay. Beds were very comfortable.

I’ve taken note of your recommendations and am gradually implementing them to enhance the experience for future guests. I’ve now added complete sets of wine glasses for both red and white wines, as I realize they tend to break over time—something I’ll keep track of going forward. While I’ve always provided plenty of paper towels, I’m also adding kitchen hand towels for added convenience. Regarding the lighting, the dimmers for the living and dining areas are actually on the switch next to the garage—it’s a small slider. Your input also led me to consider adding another dimmer by the entry for better control. Your feedback is invaluable, and I truly appreciate the time you took to share it. I’m so glad you had a comfortable stay, and I’d love to host you again in the future!
